Hotel Iberia

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was a little noisy during our stay due to renovations. The location was fine, but we found Montevideo a little underwhelming generally. We would recommend this hotel if you are determined to go there, though.

Ficamos três noites. A equipe é muito simpática e atenciosa. Os quartos são super limpos, a cama é boa e o resto idem. Hotel muito bem localizado, perto do centro e da cidade velha, possibilitando fazer os principais passeios na região central a pé. Voltaríamos com toda certeza.

We did not like the neighborhood the hotel was in. The decor of the rooms was not appealing. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in October, and we loved it! It's a budget hotel with no elevator. We were on the top floor but had no problems navigating through it. We arrived late at night and the owner received us with a detailed description of the city and recommendations for our day there. Staff was very nice throughout our stay. Room was nice, with heavy wooden blinds and also curtains so the room was perfect for a good rest without light during the early morning; wi-fi was reasonably fast. Room was large enough for two people, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Neighborhood is kinda lonely at night, but never felt unsafe. Walking distance from the "rambla" and from a couple of main avenues in Montevideo. There is a great neighborhood restaurant a couple of blocks from the hotel, ask the staff for it! I highly recommend this hotel; just remember it is a two star hotel and you will have a great time.

Muy buena pero tengan cuidado con los taxistas que llaman del hotel por que me cobraron una barbaridad para ir al aeropuerto
