Dieter was really helpful and accommodating. Good location and great room. Only comment I'd make is that if a guest is going on top floor perhaps check they can make the climb as there is no lift. But fully recommend place.

The room was a bit quirky but generally in a nice way. The fireplace could be controlled by remote control which was very nice and warm in winter. The curtains opened and closed by remote control which was also nice. The room was very big. There was not much privacy with the shower being open plan but you could put a wooden screen in front of it. The weird thing is that they wanted me to take off my shoes when walking up the stairs. I wasn't sure if this was cause it was night time or meant to be everytime - I have not experienced that in a hotel before. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The house is spectacular, each room with its own character. Stayed in the junior suite to be able to make some meals which was welcomed after long days, and woke up to the smell of fresh croissants each morning. The owners are a delight. Ghent is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The camera got used extensively, every corner is a sight!

Fantastic house, with a wonderful host. Charming room decorated with quirky and elegant style. Very comfortable even in very cold weather. A lovely time had in Ghent and this is within really easy walking distance of most of the main attractions. We will be going back, just for the relaxing time!

Very welcoming resident/host, with great pride and attention to detail. Short 5 minute walk to nicest part of Ghent old town, Only 5 rooms at this B&B, so book it early. Parking is of course remote, and recommend using Google maps to find.

Well situated, stylish if a little eccentric, and comfortable. Good breakfast. Secure parking.

A great place almost like a miniature art gallery in some ways. We had a very fancy room with an expensive-looking free-standing bath, which looked great, but in practice trying to get a shower without spraying everything nearby was tricky. That was the only downside really, except if you're in a hurry, which we weren't. Breakfast was leisurely, high quality and substantial with all guests at one table which was fine. It's a very short walk to the wonderful center of the town and they have their own (paid) parking. A great place.

Nice place. Lots of stairs. Make sure you are fit. A little confusion on checkout. Booked through Expedia and thought payment was complete but ended up paying full amount at end of stay. I like consistency and this was unexpected. Hopefully not paying double.

Beautiful and comfortable large room

We had a large and modern room with a big oval bath actually in the bedroom and really super lighting. The house is old but the decor imaginative and great fun.
