Guesthouse PPP

Really enjoyed our stay here. I was taking care of business, but my wife was being a tourist in Ghent. Only one block from center of Ghent and all the tourist attractions. Parking was good, and secure, but located a block from the hotel. Building is a stately old rowhouse. Expensive in its day. Rooms are very neat and clean with unique designs. (owner insist that you not wear shoes upstairs - helps keep place clean) Breakfast came with room and was outstanding. They have special baker - lightest, crispest croissants I ever had. Gluten Free bread also available upon request. Host/owners are wonderful. Our room was the Japanese theme room - their smallest room. Spacious by Paris standards, but it meant our suitcases were on the floor and little drawer space available. I would definetly go back.

The house is simply gorgeous, our host (Dieter) was very nice, breakfast excellent. Our room (the courtyard junior suite) was big, beautifuly designed and decorated, with a lot of light, comfortable bed, practical kitchenette. We didn't use the kitchenette though because the location is perfect and we were at a walking distance from the very center of the town, which offers great food. We would recommend this place anytime and hope to go back, with the kids this time, soon!

We are bed and breakfast novices. This is only our second experience, and on our first we were the only guests, so that was a little difficult to assess. This property and our stay were quite pleasant, although we still have figure out how to adjust to the fact that we are staying in a family's home. Our hostess was appropriately attentive, and she provided us with pretty good guidance for navigating the surrounding neighborhood, which was the old, central area of Ghent (or Gent), Belgium. Although we had a little difficulty finding the place (online map services were not entirely accurate, it seems), the location turned out to be pretty great for our purposes, as our primary interest was exploring historic Ghent and visiting the Christmas market. Guesthouse PPP is in the old city, and only a couple block walk to the market. One word of advice relates to a somewhat unusual check-in policy. Since this is a family home, check-in was specified from morning (9a to noon) or after 6p, an obvious departure from the conventional.

Such a beautiful place in a great location. The design and decor of this hotel are thoughtful and incredibly gorgeous. We stayed in the upstairs junior suite and it was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and let us check in a bit early. Be sure to communicate your arrival time to them though to make sure someone is there. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty! The location is great, within minutes walking to the Gravensteen castle, restaurants and shopping. Since the main train station is not near the center of town, you do have to take the trolley from the station to the Gravensteen stop and walk a few minutes to the guesthouse. Or it's about a €10 taxi fare. Ghent is so beautiful and we wish we would've stayed more than one night in this place! Definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel in easy waling distance from town center. parking is in a secure garage just down the road and food excellent. lights and curtains operated by electric switch.

Perfect location and parking included. two blocks from the center of old town. Great service and the best room I had in my 16 day trip around Europe. Air conditioning worked great. Satellite tv with hundreds of channels. Huge room. Mini fridge was the coldest of my trip.

Lovely. Felt right at home. A hidden gem in a seemingly dodgy area. If only I could have understood the lighting!

PPP is a stunningly beautiful home in the center of old Ghent. It is close to all the major sites. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the city of Gent very much. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel it was75 stairs up to our room. Breakfast was very nice.
