NZGood showers and large room
We were in room 3 which was on the street. The noise was terrible and we couldn’t sleep. The sound insulation was dreadful.
NZThe location is great and plenty of space in thr apartment for families.
We were traveling however my 5yr old became sick so we booked the morning of to rest and booked here because check-in time was 2pm as most are 3pm which aligned with my newborns feeding time (to heat bottle in apartment). We also requested a late check-out time but they couldn't accommodate this which was fine (this was before 2pm). We arrived at 2pm but hadn't received the lock-box code so I sent a message. They replied a while after stating the code and then apologized that we couldn't check-in until 3.15pm. I visited their sister location 1m up the road and spoke to a lovely man who apologized so many times and understood my frustration. I understood that it was not his fault. He went to help and hurry the process. We finally checked in at 3pm. We found a vape in the couch, the plug in the kitchen sink wouldn't block the water from draining, our shower was blocked causing us to stop the shower every minute or so for the water to drain. There was also a bottle cap with smoke ashes in it on the table in our patio and a lot of lint in the dryer.
NZA spacious apartment in a fantastic location
NZLocation was excellent and so was the free street parking right outside.
No heating and it was a cool night. No extra blankets.
NZThe location was fabulous.
.
AUThe location is central and off street parking is available at Wilson Car Parking for a fee. The unit is well appointed and spacious.
Communication between off site staff and ourselves did not happen which left us at a locked box with no code.
AULocation and space
Poor light blocking in skylight bedrooms, no mirrors apart from poorly lit bathroom, squeaky doors
NZ
NZGreat access to the downtown but surprisingly quiet at night. The kitchen allowed us to cook for ourselves and the apartment was well heated and cosy for us on arrival.
1) Lack of Support 2)Kitchen amenities 3)Parking 4)Unit was dark We stayed for one week. There is no physical reception desk. I called to ask about the non-working washing machine and couldn’t get in touch with anyone. No one called me back or came by the unit to fix the machine. Fine if you don’t really need to do laundry but concerning if we had experienced a more significant issue. Kitchen was very minimally supplied. We had 4 people staying but wanted our daughter to join us for some meals. We only had exactly 4 of everything so had to share unusual utensils and dishes or have her bring her own plates etc from her flat to have a meal with us. Parking: you need to source good parking as the garages nearby are expensive and don’t really offer a weekly rate. The Wilson parking garages allow you to use an app and pay early bird rate for the day or move your car each morning but we found it more cost effective to park in a rented space for the week on The Terrace. As non-Wellingtonians the walk up to the car was a bit of a grind but we left the car parked except when we headed further out of the city for hiking and exploring the region. Final negative might not be important to everyone but the unit (#15) was very dark with little natural light during the day. I think units 11 and 12 might have much better natural light and would try and stay in one of those 2 if I was reserving here again.
NZGreat location lots of space.
The blinds in bedrooms need to be cleaned and should be able to open and close them.
