Fans in the room, room very roomy, staff pleasant, good location

Could do with a small fridge in the room, bar prices expensive, not much atmosphere in the dining area, quite posh

"Don't think I stay at Royal oak again"

Breakfast was lovely, especially eggs Benedict and eggs Royal

No lift, I was struggling going up and down I could not open window wide, very hot in the room

Impressive hotel especially given it's size and old age. Room was large, clean and had everything expected. Staff very welcoming. Food was very good. Communal areas all very good.
