Windsor Hotel & Restaurant

This is such a nice hotel. The bed is really comfortable. Nice, clean old historic hotel. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

The Windsor is an historic hotel, but had modern conveniences such as air conditioning and bright lights even though older fixtures. Bed was very comfortable. No refrigerator in room but staff could accommodate since they have a restaurant on site. The restaurant is more than excellent!! No breakfast, but at sign-in was told five possible places to have breakfast, one right across the street. I really enjoyed my stay, dinner at their restaurant, and would highly recommend.

We got there late, but they were able to leave us a key in a lock box. Left early so didn’t see much staff there at all

The hotel has been nicely renovated. The beds were comfortable, we slept well! The water in the shower was hot and the pressure was good. The bistro was very lively! The service in the restaurant was really excellent.

The bathroom was freezing even though we upped the thermostat. The bedroom was chilly too. I had the steak frites for dinner and then was ill all night. I left a note for the hotel front desk lady but she never replied

Beautiful, clean hotel. I checked in after hours and the process was seamless.

We absolutely loved this faithfully restored hotel dating back to 1874 with lots of original features and details. The service was also excellent. This is everything but an anonymous hotel franchise but oozes authenticity and character.

Maybe the spongy pillows could be improved up on but it is a minor detail.

The Del Norte community came together to save this charming hotel just before it was torn down. One of the oldest hotels in Colorado serves up fine dining treats in the formal dining room and delightful cocktails and bar food in the pub/cocktail lounge. A group of young entrepreneurs have taken this gem to another level by adding a 21st Century distillery and tasting room where we enjoyed live music and delicious Manhattans. Made Del Norte a destination for us!

We didn’t know there was a breakfast. That was our only disappointment.

This is an historic building that was refurbished to reflect it’s original status from the 1880’s with modern amenities The restaurant is top end matching the quality of a major city

Nothing the stay was great and the staff very friendly helpful and professional
