Room was great for how long we were there for (as we were mostly there just to sleep!). The location was pretty perfect, very close to the pier/sea front & easy to get everywhere else, with about a 5 minute walk to the lanes. Beds were comfy overall & the staff were very friendly.

The curtains didn't cover the whole window, so a lot of the night I had a street light shining through the gap into my face. The duvet provided was quite small (smaller than the single bed) and a lot of the night I was quite chilly. The staff did help on this and ended up giving us some extra blankets/throws on the final night we stayed. Not overly fond of having to give a £100 deposit in cash upon check-in, but I understand the reasoning.

Price and cleanliness

The staff were very helpful even giving advice about some great local spots to check out. It was very easy to find and I felt very secure behind a total of three doors from the street to my room. There was hangars and a place to store some clothes, and enough lamp lights to turn off the main light and keep a cosy atmosphere using the warmer smaller lights. The room was clean and the linen was all fresh, creating a lovely experience.

There were three different Wi-Fis. The first of which was unable to support a video call and became very patchy depending where you were stood in the room, but after changing to a different connection it was fine. This may be frustrating for some users, it was not explained upon check-in. Whilst it was an en-suite, access to the shower could be considered rather difficult to larger people, but once in the shower cubicle the shower was hot and lovely. It could potentially use a rack or somewhere to store shampoo and shower gel when showering however.

The location was great! The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable enough and it did have tea for facilities. The shower was so powerful and hot, i would definitely stay again as the price was perfect for this room.

It could do with some blackout curtains in the room I was in. There was only one plug socket and it was really awkward to get to. I was not really able to plug in the kettle properly, needs an extension cable with a four plug attachment.
