Cheap(ish) and cheerful basic accommodation won’t win any awards for the interior decor but it was very clean and functional, the bed was comfy and the bathroom worked well. Quiet location but there was the occasional sound of banging doors from within the building, which wouldn’t suit light sleepers.

I experienced a delay getting into the property as the doorbell didn’t work and I had to phone for assistance. Also, a USB socket in the bedroom would have been handy.

Prime location (close to the town centre), clean and spacious double room, very comfy bed.

The shower was tight to get into (I am 6ft4, 114kg), but manageable.
