Room could have been bigger

We really enjoyed our stay at Burnt house farm. Carmen and Steve were the perfect hosts and the location is ideally situated to be able to explore Cornwall and surrounds. The cottage suited our needs perfectly and we would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to come back to this part of the world in the future. Can highly recommend!

Nothing to dislike 😊

Lovely view from 2 windows, very quiet location and had a very homely feel. You can even chat with the chicken in the garden whilst sitting comfortably reading at the table with a cup of tea or having a smooth from their beautiful dogs . The hosts Carmen and Steve were an absolute godsend to me, listening to my problems and hoping things get better too. They even went out of their way to hastily supply me with a wonderfully filling gluten free breakfast. It was definitely no trouble to them to give you some of their time. Definitely will be going back if I get the chance. Xxx

We as a group would not recommend this place to anyone, as we arrived the owners were quite rude, because we all look pretty young as in mid 20s the owners decided to tell me that they need to make new rules for us as they don’t trust us, as we was getting everything set up in the house the owners decided just to randomly walk in to the house and see what we was doing, invading our privacy. I decided to take the bins out from the rubbish we had and the male owner was very rude telling me that not everything can go in one bag which so fair enough but there is a way to speak a customer, we as a group decided to go to a beach and when we got back my mate decided to hose down his wheels on his car as they was covered in sand with a hose pipe right outside our front door of the house. The next morning while getting ready for our day and eating breakfast I had the owners shouting at me and looking through the back door trying to speak to me, was not appropriate at all, I went out to speak to the owners to see what was the issue I was then spoken to like a piece of dirt on the bottom of a shoe because there was a little sand out the front of the property I explained that I tried to clean the sand but had no brush and offered the owner that I would sweep it all up and was told no don’t bother they will clean it them selves. Would not recommended this place to anyone

We loved the warm welcome from exceptional hosts Carmen and Steve. Fantistic location. Very tasty full English breakfast everything included even home made damson jam! Very comfy beds. Really clean comfy accommodation.
