Great Hotel with friendly staff

Really the best place on Xiamen . an impressive business venue with fantastic staff . Bill was outstanding in his helpfulness and Mandy most helpful too. Good Gym and pool as you would expect with a Westin . Must try the Executive Floor next time . The hospitality and facilities looked fab, including a impressive board room for meetings..

A/C in the room was noisy. Apparently they control the temperature in the room no matter what shows on the panel and it gets really warm in the evening. Room was smelly even it's a non smoking room. Had to complain so we changed to another room. Happy Hour at the excutive lounge on 40th floor was average, the staff was cold not helpful. Breakfast buffet on 2nd floor was surprisingly bad that it felt like it wasn't run by the hotel, chefs and waiters were rude and sloppy, they clearly don't understand how to work in western hotel. Utensils were sticky too!

Spacious room. Great shower. Comfy heavenly bed. Friendly staffs. Nice gym and pool/jacuzzi. Nothing much in the area as it's in the central, about 20-30 min drive to everywhere in Xiamen. Beautiful hotel. Great for Westerners traveling for business.

We needed a night in Xiamen before flying home. The hotel was good and it was not far from the international airport. Room was adequate. Location was not ideal for sight seeing. On the 20th floor, we had a good view all the way to the horizon.

I had a great time staying at Westin Hotel. the staff is super friendly and the hotel itself is very luxurious and comforting

We booked for a premier room, which is a grade higher than their cheapest deluxe room, and the reason being seeing the picture on the booking website that premier room is a much bigger room in size. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed that the room was in fact very small. When I told the reception in the morning, they simply apologised and said we were in the correct room type and that the pictures on the web that we saw probably was not correct. This was not the worst part, the worst was when we checked out, the reception said they have to charge us extra for special cleaning service for their bedsheets. I did notice that my new black nightdress somehow stained a patch of the bedsheets to a light greyish colour. As the bedsheets in hotels were white, it should quite easily come off by using bleach. Although I did feel sorry about making the stains, but since it was not purposefully, I really wouldn't expect to be charged 20% of one night's room rate for the cleaning fee. The incident surely ruined my mood for the whole day, and originally a nice trip to Xiamen.
