Grand Inn

They only have double rooms. Small cupboard without doors for hanging cloths. Only three hangers. It is no better than a homestay but more expensive if you are a foreigner. There is a price discrimination between foreigners and local citizens. For a foreigner you will have to pay MR$30 per night more. That is discrimination. If you paid in advance and find the room unsuitable, they will still charge you for one night stay. I do not recommend this hotel for any long stay. Also car park space is limited.

ITS GREAT

Less facility, for me this is expensive, poor internet connection. The good think is near hospital, bacause i want go the for medical scheck up. This place good for medical only, not for shop, food, etc

my second time staying at grand inn hotel with my friends. would love to come here again on next trip.

The hotel service is very bad. The custermor service told us that they will send the hairdryer to the room when I call. But after that I call them the chineses lady was very bad she ask me to go down and take the hair dryer from her. She also said just borrow 1hour then put back to the counter.So, this is your hotel service attitude.

Our hotel room was small but still comfortable for 2 people. Most importantly, room and bathroom are very clean. (We love that the bathroom tiles are not cold early in the morning). You will get the basic necessities. No fridge. No hair dryer. Hot and cold water dispensers are outside next to the elavators on every floor. Hotel is located on macalister road, which seems to be one of the main roads in town. There are lots of restaurants and food courts, just walking distance down the road, and it is right next to a pharmacy. Very convenient. There is free parking, but lack of parking space during peak times as the space is quite small. But you may park across the road in the parking lot opposite. Staffs are kind enough to help you with that arrangement.

Overall its a nice hotel if you compare it with the price.

Well the room was ok but i think its good to add at least 4 pillow for queen bed or 2 pillow for single bed. need to add extension plug as there is only 2 which is 1 only can be use..another 1 is for tv. also lack of parking place. however is not the hotel i guess just penang have limited space i think. overall its affordable stay for short time. Oh yes..if you booked this hotel dont get it wrong. make sure its a right hotel as i mistaken go to penang road instead macalister road. because this hotel has 3 branch.

Overall is OK. Not expensive. Less parking lot. If no parking don't know where to park.

we're staying for 4 days, since its the nearest to Loh Guan Lye Hospital. the room was not too spacey but clean, they have strong wifi connection, thats the most important thing for us. we don't have much options regarding food, since there's no foodcourt nearby, only chicken rice restaurant on the left side of this hotel, and 7-11. overall, we satisfied with the services provided, and will be staying here again if we go to Penang again.
