Apartinfo Old Town Apartments

It was a nice, clean, fully furnished apartment in a perfect location: right in the hearth of old Gdansk, near the town hall. Someone waited for me to let me in and show me the apartment. Wifi worked great. My only complaints are that the fridge did not quite close because of a carpentry problem, and the heating could not be turned on because it is centrally controlled by the city. If you do not plan on spending too much time in the apartment during early autumn evenings, and you don't keep too much food in the fridge, you will be fine. I found it a good place to stay at a great price.

First time traveller stayed at apartment. Interior design is perfect. Room is bumig. Our apartment is located at the old town. Downstairs have a Carrefour supermarket. Convenience and within walking distance to all tourist site. Highly recommend to all travelers. Staff is young and energetic.

It was a DISASTER! I was coming from States with two kids and I have asked( I have called them twice about it) to meet us at the specific time outside as I wasn't sure if my cell is going to work there. They said "no problem - someone will wait at 6 pm outside the apartment".Nobody was waiting! I had to borrow a phone to call them otherwise nobody would show up and we wouldn't be able to get into the apartment. They were not aware about our previous arrangement...no comment. It was late and we were tired after the trip. I have booked the room for FIVE people as we were meeting my cousin and her boyfriend and we got only TWO sets of sheets. The person who brought the key have promised to bring additional sheets. It NEVER happened. We had to share beds and some of us were sleeping without sheets. I have called them several times about it. Again no effect. The apartment is very basically equipped but it was not the worst. Their customer service is! They don't follow, they don't care. I would never stay again there and if you are thinking about it, think twice. There are other places there with way better service.

Even though we arrived after usual check-in hours, a very friendly representative greeted us to let us in to the very modern and clean apartment. It was very nice to have our own kitchen during our 3-day stay, and they let us store our luggage in the main office luggage room after we checked out. The only thing lacking was soap in the bathroom, but we were able to get that pretty easily. The location was perfect - about a block from the Neptune Fountain. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel/apartment and would stay here again.

There was no wifi, I called tchem, they promissed to manage that, but they did not. If I wolud know that i would never book this room.

The apartment itself was wonderful - well furnished, spacious, warm, great location... However, on the first evening, we discovered that the oven didn't work. We called them and were assured someone would be sent to fix it the next day. Two days later, we called again, because nothing had been fixed, and were told that the person we talked to on the first day didn't pass on the message - but again they promised to fix it right away. We stayed for a week altogether, and the problem with the oven was never fixed. On a similar note, the wifi was also an issue. The router was on and working, and the wifi light was on (and we were able to connect with an ethernet cable), but the network name and password we were given didn't work. All that we needed was for them to tell us the correct username and password, but again, no one got back to us, despite us getting in touch twice during our stay. It was such a nice apartment otherwise, and we had a great time on the whole, so its just a pity that these relatively small issues (and lack of action on behalf of the staff) cropped up.

We stayed in Gdansk only for 2 night, which we regret. The apartment - with lovely rustic and very classic style design, was situated right in the heart of Gdansk on Zbytki 2/2, one minute walk from the magnificent rayal way (Trakt Krolewski), leading along the most outstanding of the streets, offering spectacular attractions and impresive architecture of gothic, renaissance and baroque style buildings. The apartment was clean and warm, with excellent atmosphere and service.

The apartment is very good, beautiful view from the window, can't get more central than that in Gdańsk. Furniture a bit dated, but all clean. Our concern was with the equipment of the apartment. Renting a fully equipped place, you'd expect everything to be thought through, but this wasn't the case. There was no knife in the kitchen, there was no detergent or soap anywhere, there was no supply of toilet paper. Washing machine is so old, it leaked water all over the floor. Wifi connection suddenly stopped one day, like disconnected on provider side. Overall, nice choice if you want to be in the middle of everything and prepared to go out and buy things you need. Otherwise there are better quality, brand new apartments few minutes walk out of Old Town, that can be a better value.

This apartment is not run by a professional hotel group. You must call or email the gentleman of your time of arrival. The apartment is difficult to find. On the main street there is a beauty shop and a budget rental car sign. The entrance is located around back from the budget car sign. The bathroom faucet water pressure was very bad and the drain did not drain. Could not use it. I had to use the kitchen sink. The shower hose had large leaks which made the water spray everywhere. The bedroom was missing a blind so 5 am sun light filled the room. No drapes in any of the rooms. The radiators did not work so no heat. I have stayed at many apartments and usually there are the basic things - salt, pepper, tea. In this place - None. Positive One block from Długa street. The internet worked well and multiple cable channels. When you leave you must set up a prearrange time for check out someone will meet you for the keys. Do not like this. The keys should be left in the mailbox. Again not a progressional run apartment. Would not stay here again.
