Apartinfo Old Town Apartments

Awful experience. No curtains in bedrooms, two towels provided for 4 people, shower was unusable, awful smell in apartment. Avoid at all costs.

We stayed in a studio apartment 5 minutes walk away from the old town centre. The well-equipped kitchen and bedroom were all in one large room, with an ensuite bathroom. The place was modern and simply but effectively decorated. Only two problems: 1) There is a small-print fee to pay when you arrive at the apartment, in addition to the Expedia price. 2) It took us about an hour(!) to find the apartment on arrival. This is because we were only told the street number, not the apartment block nor the room number, let alone the code to get into the building! So only after several calls backwards and forwards did they finally let us know where to go and how to get in. Once we were in and paid the up-front fee, everything went smoothly.

The apartment iyself was lovely and perfectly positioned above the main street. It was, however, located directly above a strip club, the noise from which kept us awake. Furthermore, the "cleaning charge" payable on arrival and in addition to the price was inexcusable. There is no reception and it was difficult to arrange the 'clandestine' meeting to collect the key. I would not recommend.

3 night stay in Gdansk. Great location for the Old town, river and bars. Would definitely recommend it.

Couldn't find the apartment to start with, was meet by one of the representatives, flat was on the third floor so not recommend if you have family or are elderly, had no wifi for nearly 2 days, as the bill had not been paid! No one phoned me or emailed me to say it was back on and 2 days before I left it went off again! It's a nice flat but the bed needs changing... So uncomfortable I had to sleep on the sofa in the living room! It was very warm in the flat so Windows had to be left open.. And at the weekend don't think you will sleep due to everyone else outside in winter perfect, summer time no! Sadly I have to say if your offered this flat do not take it unless you like loud noise outside and 3 flights everynight... Flat was on piwa street number 50/51

Perfect location but the apartment was old fashioned, still comfortable and ok for a place to put your head down at night

The apartment was excellent and very clean. We like the layout, sittingroom with large windows; big bedroom with a balcony and a large bathroom. The shop was very convenient at the apartments as we were out a bit from the town center.

Brilliant place will definetly book again. Close to everything from sightseeing to the clubs. Beautiful apartment
