"Perfect Country Getaway"

Lovely peaceful location and fab food both dinner and breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful The room was very clean clean with a comfortable bed and a just short stroll to the main building.

Generally speaking our stay was excellent and the staff were just great! We were very comfortable and the evening meals were superb especially the pheasant and venison. The whole Inn is warm and cosy which is just what one wants in the winter so well done!

We disliked intensly most of the artwork in the accommodation - if it is supposed to be funny it is not! It is ugly - so much so - that we covered ours up in the room! Why not have some local scenes - there are plenty to be had both geographically and historically. The other complaint is small but the coffee at breakfast is awful - bitter and luke warm - please change to proper percolated, ground coffee.

The view from our hotel room window was amazing. The time and effort put in to decorate for Christmas was amazing. The staff were brilliant.

Room well presented. Great breakfast. Value for money. Lovely staff. Lovely views

Currently poor mobility due to knee injury. There is a ramp at the side of building but a hand rail would be advisable as quite slippy in the rain and only a wall on one side and a very low wall on the other so unable to steady myself when needed.
