Escario Central Hotel

I like the concept of the hotel; it's got a nice feel to it. The rooms are big and clean, and so was the common area of the hotel. It might be a little difficult to find because it's situated at the end of a dead end Street, but look out for Shell, McDonald's and Jolibee for they're right at the beginning of the street leading to the hotel. Which brings me to the point of shop. Right outside this hotel you'll find the above 3 shops that I've just mentioned, and also 7-11, a couple of eateries and a pub/bar. Zubuchon (supposedly the best Lechon, or roast pig, the famous dish in Cebu) is also within 5 minutes walk. Ayala mall is a short taxi ride away. The only complaint I had was this place uses old air conditioners. They are typically noisy and not efficient, especially in the day when it's hot. hot. But since I don't stay in the hotel in the day, it's not an issue for me. The noise it makes bothered me at night, though.

Stayed here four nights at the end of August. It is quiet tucked in a good location in the city. Rooms are modern and the lounge area outside is nice. Only thing is bathroom could be better but as a whole place is nice!

I thought the room was really small when I saw the pictures on the internet, but it was actually ok. Our room was really clean and I couldn't see any signs of "wear and tear" around. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was clean. The place was relaxing, quiet, peaceful. Checking in and out of the hotel was really fast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nearby the hotel are a variety of restos, coffee shops, convenience store, salon and spa. Very good location. Overall, this is a very good hotel at the rates they're offering.

Everything is well and good. I'm going back and stay again in this botique hotel.

Its great and very comfortable. Its convenient to many amenities such as restaurants, shops and transport.

Staff are friendly and hotel service was very fast. lots of restaurant close to this hotel. the hotel was pretty new but when it rains, the walkway gets wet and very slippery. poor design on the roofing. room was clean. our first stay was for 3 days and 12 days on our second stay. i would recomend this hotel. close to ayala center and robinsons department store. the onty problem is the traffic. other than that, i would stay in this hotel again. also, there are security guards outside the hotel so the area is very safe.

The hotel seems new along with the furniture and utilities. It's in the middle of a decent part of the city. Walking distance to the popular nightlife places. Wireless connection is not bad. A good deal for the budget traveler. Small bathroom is the only minor inconvenience.

Escario central is a nice little boutique hotel, definitely worth the room rate you pay. It doesn't have any facility like swimming pool, gym etc and it also doesn't have a kitchen of its own but there are plenty of eating places in the lane where this hotel is located. We stayed there with two small children and we could walk with them to Ayala center and to Fuente Osmena.
