Close to where we had appointments. Was easy to get in and out. Secure parking and reasonable prices. Comfortable stay with all the basic that we needed. Nice and quiet.

This was our third stay at this property and we will continue to book in future due to location and room size.

The cleanliness as I have reported before and the maintenance is not up to standard for the price. I have suggested before that yellow toilet seats should be replaced. Our room this time had a new toilet seat made of the thinnest plastic I have seen. The lid was so thin that it could easily have been folded in half. This will not stand up to cleaning, felt flimsy to sit on and won't last long with hotel use. Very cheap and substandard but it was new and clean. In fact the whole toilet suite needs replacing. The toilets would be at least 40 years old. The whole bathroom needs regrouting and recaulking. This time we paid for a balcony and there were 2 stubbed out cigarette butts that had been there on the floor of the balcony for a long time. The tiles were very dirty. it is a shame that this once 5 star hotel has gone to rack and ruin. A bit of TLC and a deep scrub of walls, skirting boards, behind doors and under sinks would make all the difference. One shampoo and one conditioner tube for 2 people and 2 nights is not enough. There needs to be a system that someone is at reception most of the time. The hotel could be upgraded with breakfast offered.
