Resort La Ginabelle

The wellness centre was incredible - especially the fantastic therapist Sara! Sitting in the spa pool overlooking the lake suspended in the sky can’t be beaten!

Room was comfortable, the breakfast was nice with a wide variety, and the swimming pool was lovely and warm. However, access into the sauna area was difficult as the key card did not activate the door for all patrons. So, someone had to go into the pool, trigger the pool access door and then open the outside door.

We arranged with the Hotel to be picked up from the railway station, and they were not there. When we arrived at the Hotel, I asked about the pickup and mentioned that I tried to ring the Hotel but was unable to get thru because the phone system was diverted to a message only saying they were not open. The lady got very hostile towards me and said the person was down at the station waiting for us. I explained that no one from the Hotel was there and that I asked every transfer person there if they were from the Hotel they all said no. Not a good start. She offered a free drink for us at the Bar, but it was never forth coming, even though we had a drink or two every night.

Las fotos definitivamente no hacen tributo a la perfección del alojamiento. Es increíblemente hermoso, un oasis literalmente en el corazón de zermatt, estuvimos muy contentos con nuestra estadía en el hotel, perfecto para parejas que busquen el descanso, comodidad y lujo. Es el mejor lugar en Europa para desayunar, logramos conseguir todo lo que buscábamos desde nuestro país, un desayuno balanceado, completo, sin alimentos procesados. Su jugo de naranja recién hecho, fue un manjar, el restaurante es elegante al igual que sus zonas de Spa, y demás. Sin duda, perfecto para una luna de miel soñada con tu pareja.

La ubicación, aunque todo quede cerca en zermatt no es la más central y si vas con tu equipo de Ski como nosotros, está un poco alejado si buscas ir caminando. Sin embargo todo es muy rápido al movilizarte en bus o taxis eléctricos que son muy curiosos al no existir vehículos convencionales. Zermatt es costoso, y así mismo el traslado al terminal que es a 5 minutos que me parece, debería estar incluido dentro del precio. De resto, todo perfecto.

The hotel is modern, clean and very classy. Staff give 100% to make your stay perfect. The breakfast section is amazing, our room was up there with the best I’ve stayed in, swimming pools perfect after a day out walking the mountains.

There was nothing to dislike. The staff were nothing but incredibly helpful & never made you feel like you were bothering them. The whole hotel design was gorgeous. The huge corner room I had, was so spacious, very comfortable with the best views of the Matterhorn from my own personal balcony. The services they offer, are above & beyond.
