"For Overnights"

It is a good place stay over the night. It would be better to stay here or other hotels in Hulhumale, especially when you arrive late at night. They are offering airport transfer, but they should make sure next time that they come a little early so that guest won't have to wait. The staff are accommodating.

"just to stay overnight between flights"

"Warning: Stay away from Elite Inn"

What an awful introduction to the Maldives. We were arriving at 9pm so we had emailed the hotel to let them know of our late arrival. The hotel manager Ali responded "thank you, we will await your arrival in our hotel." We arrived around 11 to the hotel and were greeted by the hotel manager who did not say welcome. Yet, instead he angrily said "I waited in the airport for you for two hours!!" We said we were sorry but we did not book an airport pickup. He insisted we did. We checked our reservation and we confirmed that we had not booked an airport transfer. He also charged us more than was listed on our reservation (claiming more taxes; however the other hotels we stayed at in Maldives did not charge this). The wifi was extremely spotty, and then when we finally made it up to our room, it was the wrong room. We had booked two beds and instead there was one double bed to share. When we went back to reception with the reservation he said "oh sorry I gave your room away because you were late." We then again discussed how we had emailed him giving our arrival time and he shrugged his shoulders. Everyone else in the Maldives and at other hotels was extremely nice, polite, welcoming. I would definitely stay away from Ali and the Elite Inn. He was rude and dishonest. Please know that usually when I review places it is to rave about them; this is not a complaint but a warning and hopefully favor to other travelers. Do not waste your money at elite inn.

"Bad"

I was really not happy with the stay also they have charged me $179 which is in correct will get back to London then contact hotels .com

"it'll get you by:)"

you get what you pay for. no frills, but that's what the rest of the hotels on the island look like too. of the 2 rooms myself and my friend had, my bathroom smelled like moth balls, and was much smaller than his, so i guess it's luck of the draw, or what they have left based on how booked they are. the staff is friendly, and they offer a very basic (included) breakfast. so it is was it is. eh:)

"Short stay"

Ok for a short stay. We waited almost an hour for pickup after ringing the hotel as no public transport - taxis or buses were available. Arriving at approximately 12.30am, we were advised that the transfer arranged for the next day would at 5.30am and we'd be woken at 4.30am. Pushed out at 5.20am. Hotel added taxes onto the rate we believed included taxes but we had little choice given the time, we had nowhere esle to go and we'd been travelling for 26 hours by then. Wasn't value given time we spent, the misunderstanding over taxes. Wasn't surprised given other reviews. Probably would have been better to book in Male and take the ferry which is right outside the airport.

"On the map it shows right on the beech but not"

"Misleading!"

We were picked up 2 hours late from the airport which was horrible since it was 1 am. They tried to charge us one extra night and we had to pay upfront which seemed a little sketchy than normal. The room we booked said 2 queen beds on the reservation but when we got there there was only 1 room with a queen bed... This was very misleading and they simply said that hotels.com messed up th description.
