Hotel Elite Inn

It's a basic hotel walking distance to one of the best scuba diving shop in Maldives. The room we stayed in had no windows. Not trying to be picky but that should be a must when I'm stay in a hotel.

We stayed at the Elite overnight before taking the various ferries to Maafushi. The staff were all helpful - not all understood English - the owner speaks very good English. Not too far from the airport - walkable I'd say but you're not allowed to walk through the airport so that wasn't a goer. We even went for a walk along the beach in the evening. The room was fine for an overnight but not sure it'd be good for a longer stay. Breakfast was ok too.

Room was nice and clean. We got in at 9AM even if check in time was 3PM. Staff very friendly, but not good at English. Breakfast was simple but ok. The room had no windows and balcony was 80cm x 80 cm and facing towards boring backyard. Ocean and beach were very nice and only two minutes away. Restaurants in the area were very local and very cheap. 10 minutes walk to ferry that took you to Male in 10 min. Administration and paperwork was not their favorite dicipline. It took quite a while (45 min.) to prepare the bill. Hotel is ok if it is just to sleep or stop over.

Stayed in hotel for one night. Transport was arranged efficiently to airport by staff who were helpful. Hotel was dated and basic, though clean.

It was a very pleasant stay before our early morning flight. The hotel building as brand you. The staff are very friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable.
