Smiles Beach Hotel

Great position on the beach with wonderful pool and plenty of places to relax. I loved that we were on the sand and could also walk up and down the beach easily. The staff in all areas were beautiful. Can’t give them enough praise. Showers were hot and the huge beds comfortable. Loved our time there.

Fantastic 3 star hotel in Nungwi! Great location in a quiet part of Nungwi. Private beach area with no salesmen. BEAUTIFUL outdoor area! Very kind employees from Reception to Spa, cleaning and Restaurant. Rooms are spacious with sufficient room for 3 big single/queen beds and luggage without it feeling crammed. Simple interior but we were only in the room for sleeping and it had good nets thst was prepared each night. Did not see one single mosquito inside. Bedsheets clean but with a few permanent stains. No issue for us as felt clean. No noticed electrical fall-outs - I think they have a generator. Only awareness point is that the door lock is very simple: from outside you lock with a small padlock (but there is a safe in the room). From inside there is a simple slide lock (toilet door style) that barely locked in our room - a simple push would have opened the door. Given guard on the premises I felt safe with just a suitcase in front of the door but preferably the lock had been a bit more solid. Does not change the conclusion: AWESOME hotel. Hope to return another time.

Right on the beach and the pool was nice.

Seemed to be short staffed. Staff was not very friendly or attentive. We were a family of 4 in a twin room and it was tight (2 double beds)

We loved the pool area and garden. The property was very well maintained and the staff were very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff. The food was tasty,well presented and was good value.

We came from Turkey. It’s a small boutique hotel. We liked the location very much. There is no big tide near the coastline… we stayed there 5 nights and enjoyed every moments. Highly recomended they helped us even if every question, they supplied us late check out bcoz of out flight is in the middle of the night… all staffs were very helpful and kind. Thank you
