Cabañas del Capitan

In general the property was ok. My 2 biggest drawbacks were beach access was closed. They say its because of government regulations, but other beach front properties had their access open. And the parking was very far away, almost a 10 minute walk. Ohh and the elevator does not work period. It says it was under maintenance but in 3 days no one worked on it.

When you arrive at the hotel. The staff great you like you have arrived home. The guests who return are the friendliest. I will be back next year. Just take ear plugs for the noise in the morning on the returns and the wifi is the worst. Have your own hotspot or Mexican phone to get the internet. Upgrade I hope will happen some year. I will be back again

This is my first time to stay at las Cabañas del Capitan... the hotel is so beautifully painted ..2 pools .. swim up bar and a great little restaurant. I had a bungalow and it was equipped with kitchen so was great to be able to make meals . The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a future stay and to other people . All the people I met were great friendly and a good time had by all . Beach and ocean amazing and the sunsets also

Our stay at Cabañas del Capitan could not have been better! The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff made this stay perfect. The bungalow was kept spotless as with the rest of the grounds too. As with many of the pther guests, we will not hesitate to book again for next year.

The staff are great and keep rooms and pool super clean. Beautiful plants on grounds. Owner teaches excellent yoga classes on site with special trip to Chacala for Sun salutations. The cabanas have two great pools, a clean hot tub, and a private beach area next to ocean with free umbrellas and lounge chairs. The pool side bar and snack bar have excellent drinks and food. There is also a gourmet restaurant attached to hotel.

Comfortable, safe and friendly accommodations. Beautiful and colorful surroundings. Helpful staff. Good food and generous promotions at the swim up bar and restaurant. Easy access to beach and markets.

We just completed our 4 week stay! The staff is EXCELLENT and always wiling to help in any way possible. This year they added Yoga 3 mornings a week, EXCELLENT classes with Rossanna. Very qualified instructor and teacher, she draws people from outside the hotel as well. If you have the chance you must try her class. Thanks again to everyone and we look forward in coming again in 2021. Brian and Tina

Hotel is superb, people are fantastic. The beach has been cleaned up considerably, and the water quality has improved significantly. There are two new hotels being built to the south of Cabañas, definitely not our cup of tea.

literally threw us out of the room at 12 o clock no late check charged us per person to use room to shower with mo hot water no plugs

Place is cute but they are not honest I Gabe them 500 pesos cash and clerk said it would be returned to my credit card never !!! Got it back ‘
