Прекрасные завтраки ,комфортный номер и удобная кровать ,убираются каждый день и приносят все необходимые туалетные принадлежности,расположен удобно к рынку близко еды и пляж шикарный

Мало зонтиков на пляже лежаки всегда заняты ,закрыли центральный бассейн на реконструкцию и не сообщили об этом не где заранее

Жили на вилле, просторная уютная, уборка 2 раза в день. Завтрак в ресторане по меню с европейской кухней. Есть лежаки, но их не много.

Отель требует обновления. Бассейны не глубокие, душ далеко от моря, купание в загонах.

If you are a foreigner, it’s better to avoid stay in Mgm. The hotel staff and facilities are all for local Chinese guests. The reception staff can’t speak even a word in English. The swimming pools are overloaded with people and kids

Location is good

When you first arrive, the lobby is open and not air conditioned. When we arrived, it was very hot and we had to wait a couple of hours before we got our rooms. Rooms are very nice, 1000 times better that MGM Las Vegas! Breakfast was good at both restaurants. Lots of choices, but again, no air conditioning around the food area, but yes in the dining room. At the Hainan breakfast, lots of Chinese breakfast foods. Good selection of drinks and food. You can request ice and they will provide for you. Meals are a little expensive at the hotels. The walking/shopping area is about 1/2 mile from the hotel (11 rmb by taxi) with a lot of selection of food. You'll need a taxi or didi to get around from the hotel. Malls are about a 15 minute drive (about 15-20 rmb) and they have a lot of good places to shop and eat. There is a free shuttle to the discount mall, but it picks up from all the hotels, so it takes a little time to get to the mall. Airport is about a 25 minute taxi ride from the hotel. Reason it got an average rating from me was that the inside of the hotel was really hot (the reception area)

Being a five star resort very disappointed in the customer service. The staff were miserable and could not even smile or even speak English not helpful at all. Was offered fruit in the room with no cutlery to cut the passion fruit. Very miserable staff Not welcoming

Only stayed for one day fortunatetly, but it was enough to determine that the Sanya MGM is nothing more than a theme park replica of a nice hotel. The food isn't great, the facilities are already falling apart and the whole place is purely geared towards children. Theres a little train that drives around the resort just like at an amusement park and the 'adults only pool' has been converted into another birthday party area for 7 year olds. Probably a great place to bring your kids, but as a couple it was not great.
