El Ksar Resort & Spa- Family Hotel

Everything was good in the hotel, the rooms was clean, all the staff was nice with us, the entertainment team was lovely, every night they have a program for us,Sky was a very crazy man he is full of energy and he was nice with us you really need to find him

Perfect animation, very entertaining program, Ziko is a pro in volleyball, we played everyday with my dad and made like 40 friends !

I spent an unforgettable vacation with my daughter. Excellent hotel: excellent location, rooms, restaurant, food, beach, animators, staff... everything was amazing...

The food is great here. All the staff are lovely especially the animation team. There is so much to do here it is a excellent place.

Out of all the things in the hotel, the entertainment team are fantastic. So welcoming and friendly. The best boys are ziko, kimo, chico and stefan.

If you want a resort with an amazing variety of food.. look elsewhere. Unless you are prepared to eat out.. which is a whole different experience and highly recommended. The food is pretty much the same every day. However.. the resort is beautiful. More of a 3 star than a 4, so don't expect the best from the actual building and rooms themselves. The staff are great. And really friendly and helpful. Especially the security guard who works on the reception entrance. You can always get a taxi to anywhere you want through him. I can't remember his name unfortunately. But he's always willing to help and advise. The beach is lovely and the pools are clean and well maintained. Entertainment staff are very friendly and welcoming. This was our second visit to this hotel and we will be returning. But we came prepared for the lack of variety in food and we took our own electric travel cooker, some food and hot drink making items, which helped us massively to eat what we felt like.

A luxurious hotel with a beautiful view of the sea and the garden, the food is varied and the room is cozy, but the most interesting and cool thing here is of course the animation team Very cheerful and understanding guys with whom you can have a great and fun time You will never regret going there and you will never forget the emotions that you will find here

I had high hopes for El Ksar Resort and Thalasso, but unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations. This place is marketed as a 4-star resort, but in reality, it’s struggling to meet 3-star standards. Late Check-In: We couldn’t get into our room until after 3 PM — not a great start, especially after a long journey. No acknowledgement or apologies given from staff. Room Issues: Sadly our room had a strong sewage smell and didn’t seem properly cleaned. We requested for a room change after the first day but due to capacity this was not possible, for 7 days it damped the experience. WiFi: Don’t expect to get any decent WiFi annnnywhere inside or in the public areas of the resort, it’s patchy at best and mostly unusable, they have around 7 or 8 different Wifi connections throughout. However, none worked efficiently enougj. Food: Mealtimes were the number 1 let down of this whole stay. Extremely frustrating. Long queues (often 20+ minutes), food running out quickly, and such poor poor quality overall. We experienced undercooked food multiple times, including raw potatoes. How can you get simple potatoes wrong?! The variety of fruit is so limited, if you don’t like melon or watermelon, good luck. We ended up going out to eat just to have a proper meal. The snack bar outside staff were rude and you could feel that they were talking abou you. At one point I was first in queue, and waited for 20minutes for some chips, the chef then proceeded to ignored me and served 3 people before me which I found highly rude. All-Inclusive? Not Really: The all-inclusive drinks do not include proper cocktails. You get basic, low-quality options, and anything decent costs extra. The beers are served in basically children cups, so you find yourself constantly needing a refill. The red wine, was really not good in taste. Cleanliness in Common Areas: The kitchens and food stations did not look clean, dirty tables such as when they were making pizzas which is extremely concerning. The general cleanliness of the hotel is poor, dirty catpets on the way to rooms 3000s. Staff & Service: Service from staff was actually too often unhelpful and literally borderline rude. It seemed like people who spoke the local language were treated better, even when it came to how much food they were served. I found being served small portions such as only 1 slice of pizza, or a handful of chips. The staff really unfortunately need extra knowledge on formality and friendliness. We all work hard to have a holiday away from home and should not be greeted with such hostility. Amenities: Basic amenities weren’t provided which is unusual for a 4 star hotel, anything you may need or have simply forgotten would need to be bought from the shop next to reception. Management: There’s clearly a lack of organisation. The whole place feels mismanaged. One of the ladies at reception was really rude and unhelpful everytime a request or question was made, it felt as if she just did not be there. Positive: The kids’ entertainment seemed well-organized and enjoyable. It’s the only part that felt like it was being done properly. However, I was told by many other guests that the young teenagers were frequently asked to write down good reviews by members of entertainment and were watched whilst doing so. Therefore I would take good reviews with a pinch of salt. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It might have been good at some point, but now it feels run-down, poorly managed, and not worth the money. I would recommend staying elsewhere, unfortunately this was not only my experience but was also voiced and echoed by a number of different guests I spoke to throughout my stay. It is far from a proper 4-star experience

My expirence of elkasr hotel has been amazing the people are really friendly and fun to be with, the hotel is right by the sea with ma y fun activities for families and friends to do The slides here are amazing with the life guards (ahmed, Houssein) being super friendly and fun to spend time with as they are great with people. The kids club next to the pool is very good for children it gives adults time to relax while your children ages 4-12 can have fun being entertained by the amazing staff even holding a mini disco at 8 30 for the kids Overall i really enjoyed this hotel and the people and would recomend this place again
