Please note that all couples must present a marriage certificate upon check-in. Please note that swimming in burkini is not allowed in the pool. Room rates on 24 December and 31 December include a gala dinner Standard Family rooms are mostly in the main building. But they can be bungalows in summer depends of availability This is a family and couples only hotel. It does not accept single male bookers. They would be rejected at the reception. "Amazing and we will be booking again for May 2026"

The animation team at El Ksar are brilliant, cannot do enough for you, lively and full of fun. Aqua aerobics is the best. Ziko Stephan are the best. 10 out of 10 for their amazing efforts around the pool and beach. Thank you very much what a fantastic 11 days xx

"Needs improvements!"

After our stay we have mixed feelings🤔, the hotel has both positives and negatives, and the mistakes need to be worked on. Recommendation for the hotel: If guests arrive late at night after a long journey to your hotel, it would be appropriate if you offered at least a warm dinner. Not grated carrots, cucumber, cheese, eggs and pastries. This was not a warm welcome. (on the picure). 🤨 At every hotel they always served us a warm dinner. Employee on the beach offered our 2 clean towels - we paid a deposit, and 2 sun beds to new guests. Very unfair. We were there all day, just needed snacks and left for a short time. He got a tip as a reward.The manager tried to be helpful and resolved the issue with an employee, but since there were no more sunbeds available, the result was that the guests left us one sunbed, on which the two of us sat, and the two of them also sat on the other. It was not comfortable for anyone. I hope this was the last time what he did it! But better bring your own towels. Waiter - We came to an empty table, which was the only one free and the waiter was already taking the last dishes. The waiter told me right away that it was no longer free. No one was sitting there, there were no glasses, nothing.When we went to sit down, a guest appeared who probably paid in advance to have his table set. We turned around and went to a completely dirty table with all the dishes to wait for the next waiter to prepare it for us. The guest understood the situation and then left and sat somewhere else, but we were already sitting at the other table. Apart from these not nice experiences, fortunately at least the other services were okay. A nice staff from the helpful receptionists, the manager, the waiters, cleaning ladies, we were satisfied with them. Just it's necessary to focus more on cleanliness in the dinning room. The waiters worked quickly, but didn't have much time to change the tablecloths even though they rushed. We were in a hotel with a smaller dining room and it had the same number of waiters, and they also had trouble keeping up. So in a big place like this, it's inevitable to add many more employees. The room was nice, only the bathroom is a bit older, and would need reconstruction. Wifi only works at the reception. I appreciate the wide selection of food, there was always a choice, and the food was delicious most of the time. 🏖️ We liked a beautiful beach that was without any mess and the clean sea. You need to get up earlier and take a place. I would definitely recommend adding more sun loungers to the beach. There are sun loungers on the right side, but they don't have umbrellas, which is a mistake, because not all the guests can fit on the left side where there are umbrellas.

"Poor hygiene"

We just came back from 7 nights here. I don’t understand how this is rated 4 stars the hygiene is extremely POOR. Our room was okay, the bathroom was horrible. Broken tiles outdated, old and the bathtub/shower was disgusting. I could not take a shower in there. The hygiene and cleanliness across the entire hotel is so extremely poor, the corridors look like they have never been hovered the carpets are disgusting, and the restaurant cutlery plates were not clean at all. The chairs in the restaurant were dirty i don’t understand how it’s 4 stars the hygiene is so poor.

"Im so happy"

Thank you so much for your warm welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms, the pool, and the beach, as well as the variety of food. It was a wonderful holiday, and many thanks to the animation team for creating such an atmosphere that we never felt like leaving the hotel.

"Avoid this hotel, awful service, dated, unclean"

I am writing this review after a truly disappointing stay. This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but the experience we had was far below that standard. ​Our rooms were extremely dated, and the bathrooms were dirty and in a tired state. We found moldy, messy silicone around the bathtub. Despite booking two triple rooms, we were only provided with four bath towels. When we brought this up to the front desk, we were told the towels would be delivered to our room, but they never were. We had to wait until the next morning to ask the cleaning staff for them. The reception staff was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful. ​The service in the buffet restaurant was shockingly bad. Waiters would acknowledge our requests to have a table prepared and then simply walk away, leaving us to clear tables ourselves and find our own cutlery from a cart. The food was unappetizing, and we even saw bugs crawling on the buffet and the walls. The chefs were slow to replenish the food, allowing dishes to run out completely before refilling them, which caused frustratingly long queues at every mealtime. ​The only saving grace of this hotel was the hardworking and friendly entertainment team. ​I cannot recommend this hotel and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.. Would I recommend the hotel? No way Would I recommend visiting Tunisia? No thank you. They are around 30 years behind Turkey and Egypt when it comes to accommodating tourists.

"Awful 4 star hotel"

Absolutely horrible experience at this 4 star hotel, false advertising claiming it has this n that. When it doesn’t! If you’re from the UK & expecting 4 star service then don’t bother booking here… there’s no 4 star service. It’s dirty, the staff are rude, there’s not enough food or beverages, they use plastic cups & small Paper cups for water. We felt like we were in Oliver , please sir can I have some more… Very outdated information no thalassotherapy spa, this is deralict & over grown, there’s a nice court yard that you can only access from the tv room, as the other doors have been locked with chains & padlocks. Old equipment including the games for the kids. We’ve been to Tunisia before in a 4 star hotel an it was a Million times better than this hotel. We ended up dinning out at the local restaurants. Worst 4 star hotel we’ve ever been to. Not to mention the beach, getting hassled by the locals to buy their items, getting hassled by the security & lifeguard, my son n husband wanted to go jet skiing but the security n lifeguard hassled them to buy from them n not the hire place. They got angry when we said no, they were trying to rip us off! Also there’s no mini bar in your room, internet is limited, I’m sure you’ll find something broken in your room like we did.

"Horrendous experience."

Absolutely everything except the entertainment team was horrendous. The rooms were outdated, had broken tiles, broken plug sockets, mouldy sealant and aircon vents. The air conditioning was warm in every room and non-existent in the reception and restaurant. There was no ventilation in the restaurant with at least 3 to 4 live cooking stations on, the food was warm or cold, bland, undercooked, tasteless and inedible. Live stations had queues of at least 30 minutes per item and no portion control meaning people in front took half the tray and left nothing for the other 20 people behind them. The cutlery and tablecloths were always dirty and they regularly ran out of sugar-free cola. The all-inclusive alcohol tasted like paint stripper and gave many guests an upset stomach. Guests regularly shared stories of being sick or having diarrhoea alongside myself and my family. The pool was rarely cleaned and had sand, hair, debris and a fingernail in it. The lifeguards were abrasive or creepy, one in particular regularly requesting other guests' vapes to smoke. Most of the time they sat in the shade and did nothing about small children smacking people with pool noodles and diving into the pool soaking others around them trying to relax or sit at the side. Unless you reserved a lounger at 5.30 am you wouldn't get one, other guests placed their towels on beds and didn't use them the entire day and nothing was done about that either. The reception staff were rude as were some of the restaurant staff, others were extremely pleasant. The snack bar was constantly empty and again the food was inedible and stale. A la carte restaurant had salad sitting out on a table unrefrigerated and again inedible stale food. We spent an additional £1,000 eating out or ordering delivery daily for the 2 weeks in resort. The onsite nightclub had a resident mouse running across the dance floor which is located next to the kitchen. The saving grace and only positive note regarding this hotel is the entertainment team. A fabulous group of young men who were extremely welcoming and inclusive. A particular mention of Ziko, Momo, Chico, Stefan, Kimo and Sky who really made it an enjoyable time when present. Considering the amount of money asked for to join in with bingo and tombola, the prizes were abysmal and not worth the price of the tickets. The external entertainment at the Sunday's white parties is also atrocious and should be looked into. If you're able to change the hotel before being subjected to these horrors please, do it.

"Bad experience"

This hotel completely ruined our first trip to Tunisia. Check-in was chaotic, with guests waiting for hours and treated with zero respect. We watched staff slam room keys at a guest, refuse coins from another (only to later give change in coins), and argue with several frustrated visitors. Professionalism was nonexistent. The reception team were rude and offensive, one even blamed our Muslim clothing for feeling hot in a reception area with no air conditioning, which was both unprofessional and insulting. The staff that were present on 5th September during the check in, should receive training or they should think about quitting. The hotel itself felt outdated. While housekeeper Nayema and the restaurant staff were kind, the overall experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had.
