A well designed, very clean and comfortable room with excellent bed and shower in a great location

No elevator, so be aware that you will need to climb stair

The location is a good, and having a lounge/kitchen downstairs (shared) is a nice feature.

The reviews about the floors / hearing everything is spot on accurate. The host claims this is part of the “charm” but it really isn’t, these are not old/antique floors, they just have been installed (very) poorly with absolutely zero noise isolation. We heard the couple above all night and they were clearly not shouting, just talking at a normal level and walking around as carefully as possible, though it sounded like they were in our room + an elephant was walking above. To top it off, there was no hot water in the evening and the host was not responsive till next morning, despite messaging on booking.com + WhatsApp. The host then questioned if I had turned the taps ‘the right way’ - extremely insulting. There is a kitchen and living room downstairs - while there at about 11pm, we closed the blinds for privacy from street, however a host arrived and said we were not allowed to close the blinds - how insane! In summary, choose another place if you want to avoid all these issues.

My wife and daughter thuroughly enjoyed their short trip to the city and would love to rebook this property next time. Safe location, very clean, modern and tasteful interiors.

Only minus is parking in the area is rare and expensive (as always!)
