Amazing views. Simple affordable and clean

The place was nice clean the staff was very friendly if you make the stairs down the hill to the beach you will love the beach is really private not one is there really clean but you will have to go up the stairs and that is a work out

Rooms were a bed and a table. Not as pictured. Breakfast is beans and rice and scrambled eggs. Everyday… 10 days. Frustrating when they forget toilet paper, or to put garbage bags in baskets… the construction on site … bang bang. We didn’t have a working TV , when we said something she just left us. We got it last day… we would not recommend or return. Walls in the rooms were bare it was walking into a cell. They let anyone in on a day pass so outside our room was a public pool with kids everywhere. Now the pool guy was super nice, the guard Juan was also incredible. We met the musician bar tender and her was super. He fixed our TV for us. So food- skip it Rooms - bare not even headboards. Some staff - incredible Other staff - frustrating and need some guest training. When we did get a drink from the bar the glass was chipped and cracked! We threw it out.

Dunama Hotel & Casino is a pretty basic/average hotel. There are no bells and whistles about this place, despite its location and beautiful view of the ocean. Despite its amount of rooms, it cannot hold all its guests in the breakfast area which means guests need to sprawl out to the bar area. The pool is very small and only supplies maybe 10 beach chairs for all guests, meaning some days we. The Casino is also very mediocre and small. The photos on their website make this place seem a lot different than it is in person. Our room, despite having a limited view of the ocean, was very dark. It led out to some kind of veranda, which connected to all the other rooms on our floor. While all other room types had outdoor furniture, ours did not.

You can spend 20 bucks to see the view, that’s about it for this place. They state made to order breakfasts and we were served a very small Buffett. We unfortunately weren’t told that ALL they can make is scrambled/fried eggs and rice. (We had fruit offered sometimes, other times no) That’s it! No furniture in the rooms, not even a headboard. No mirrors, but the bathroom one. No coffee in the rooms (coffee maker though), but around 9:00am they might have some made in lobby. If you leave for excursions early you’re out of luck. Ordered one drink from the bar, glass was chipped and had cracks?! Dumped it. Now Juan at the front gate is such a great person, he was the best staff member there!!! Reserved a Terrance view of ocean and wasn’t the case. So we get the public swimming pool outside of our room. Place is very disappointing for food, rooms are very disappointing- white- no art on walls. Rooms do not look like the pictures shown. It is a great place to just crash for a night. But not for a week or longer. If we had the ability to move hotels we would have.

This hotel was a great location, I asked for a swim up pool and didn't get that and they said the hotel was full but spoke to other guest that were able to move rooms. the rooms smelled like really bad paint. The room had no dressers and under the bed was very dirty. When I proceeded to ask the staff about changing rooms they laughed and told me that is the only room available. Overall I would not recommend this hotel

Very good

The staff seems to me not well trained. At 12PM I asked the bar for a Piña Colada and they told me that they don’t have material to make that drink and that they didn’t know when the kitchen would have prepared the ingredients. The restaurant was supposed to close at 10 pm but at 8.30pm the kitchen was already closed.

Excellent place: quiet, excellent food, excellent ocean views!

I do mot think there was nothing to not like. I wsurprised there was no elevator
