Doubletree by Hilton Newark

I love the hotel’s very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful, I love the warm cookies they offered us at the lobby whenever we were waiting for our uber to go out, it was a nice gesture. One time, they helped us to call back the delivery guy when we were late in collecting our delivery food at the lobby.

Bathroom in our room was not cleaned very well. Hair in the drain of the shower. Hair on the bathroom floor.

The hotel was very clean and just perfect. The bar restaurant were so nice and very good. The entire staff made us feel very welcomed and the town is so friendly with good restaurants. We hope to be back in the area and stay here again!

Very expensive for the amenities offered.

I loved the walk-in shower, but the toilet was anchored too close to the floor, and the flushing mechanism was pitifully inadequate.

The only thing I didn't care for is I miss my connecting flight. It was cuz they kept delaying my flight so my original booking got canceled and I had to pay a second time out of pocket and that irritates me cuz now I have to be charged twice for the same booking.

Very helpful staff, especially when you needed parking when the lot was full!

Great service and cleanliness, but we Could hear the people in the next room talking well into the night. For the money, I would expect soundproof rooms.
