We stayed at Hyatt Centric Chandigarh from 10th to 15th May with our family, including a toddler, an infant, and our dog Arthur — and what was supposed to be just a hotel stay honestly became a beautiful memory for our entire family.
Travelling with small kids and a pet is never easy. There is always stress, tiredness, luggage, food timings, sleep schedules, and constant chaos. But from the moment we entered the hotel, the warmth and kindness shown by the team made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
A heartfelt thanks to Gurveer and the entire front office team for making us feel so welcomed from day one. Every interaction carried warmth, patience, and professionalism. It never felt like we were just another room number.
A very special thanks to Summerjeet and team for helping us immediately with our luggage and settling us into the room after our exhausting 9-hour road trip. Handling three kids after such a long drive can become overwhelming, and your quick support at that moment meant more to us than words can explain.
One of the biggest reasons this stay became so special was how lovingly the team treated Arthur. Most hotels say they are pet-friendly, but very few actually make you feel comfortable travelling with a pet. Here, Arthur truly felt welcomed. As pet parents, that small emotional comfort means a lot.
The rooms were always clean, fresh, and very well maintained. I especially want to appreciate the housekeeping staff for their exceptional effort. Staying with a toddler, an infant, and a dog in the same room can honestly test housekeeping standards daily, but the team handled everything so smoothly and gracefully every single time. Their hard work never went unnoticed.
Food was excellent, but what touched us even more was the care behind the service. A sincere thanks to Harish G (Restaurant Manager), Chef Harish, Dishant, Dinni, and Narendra for always understanding our situation with small kids and helping us with room service and meal requests with so much patience and kindness. Parents travelling with children know how difficult meal times can become, and your support genuinely made our days easier.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm, positive, welcoming, and truly family-friendly. Even after returning home, we are still talking about the wonderful memories we created during this stay.
Thank you once again to everyone who made our trip so memorable:
Gurveer, Harish G, Chef Harish, Vipasha, Dishant, Dinni, Narendra, Vivek, Summerjeet, and the entire housekeeping staff.
People often forget hotels, but they remember how people made them feel — and your team gave us memories we will genuinely cherish for a long time.
Just one small suggestion for the Hyatt Centric management — it would be wonderful if more room categories could be opened for guests travelling with pets. Since we were limited to the 2nd-floor category due to Arthur, having the flexibility to move into a larger room would have made the experience even more comfortable for families like ours.
Looking forward to visiting again someday.
