Beautiful grounds, public bath was amazing, kaiseki dinner and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I booked the traditional room, with a futon and tatami mats and slept amazing.

We loved the place and also that it was somewhat in outskirts of Kyoto. The place gave us a very good feel about the culture. Highly recommended. The area is very calm, lots of Temples around. In the place you can visit Onsen free of charge and have a dinner for additional charge. Both dinner and brekfeast are very special, following local traditions. There are 2 buses going to that location (500 meters walk from busstop), no need to take taxi.
