Hotel Cornavin

My accommodation was on the eighth level and had a fantastic view of Geneva. The room was really clean, and the receptionist was quite friendly.

My room was on the 9th floor overseeing the railway station but very quiet.

Stayed in this hotel while visiting Geneva with my sister and my cousin. We had a room for three people with three single beds. The room wasn’t very spacious but big enough for a three-night-stay. The weird thing was that the wall between the bathroom and the actual room was open from the top so it wasn’t as private as it should have been. Had we not known each other so well, it could have been very awkward. We had asked for a room on the upper floors and our room was on the 6th floor. The view was towards the railway line and the mountains but surprisingly there was no noise from the trains. The location of the hotel was brilliant, it is only a few-minute-train journey to the airport and it’s not a long walk to the waterfront or the old town. The breakfast was quite basic but sufficient and the views from the breakfast room were beautiful. The staff was very friendly, special thanks to the young man at the reception who helped us with a dinner reservation and was all in all very happy to help.

Love yo Stay near the train station

Hotel was across the street from the train station. Arrived before check in time but room was available so was given a room. Spacious room. Nice buffet breakfast is also peovided. Area has lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy to walk to the lake. Lots of transportation options.

If you drive a car, please be reminded to direct yourself to the underground parking garage in front of the central station. Otherwise you will need to be detoured for another 12 minutes for parking.

Staff was welcoming and capable. Room was good sized and real bath tub was welcome.

Great location and spacious room

Location was perfect. Across the street from train station and at a tram hub, but still quiet. Would stay again.

Spectacular hotel, incredible panoramic rooms, beautiful lobby, impeccably clean, quite spacious, incredibly thoughtful touches (bath accessories, makeup mirror, drying bar, fridge, etc), large bath...and I honestly cannot think of a better way to see the city than from a room on the upper floors - the pic was my view. I've never heard of Fassbind hotels before but will look for them going forward.
