The location is super convenient. The room was pretty small, but sufficient.

Reception staff were very helpful and offered guidance about navigating the city and making the most of our time in Cardiff. The room was made up every day - an unexpected pleasure.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The rooms were on the small side but had everything that was needed for a short stay.

I was a little concerned as the overall rating for the hotel wasn't too good, but I was really surprised when I arrived as I feel it deserves a much higher overall rating. The room, whilst small, was nicely decorated and had all the facilities one could wish for. The bathroom was fine with a very good shower with shampoo, conditioner and soap available, and there is a hairdryer in the bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows, a nice big tv on the wall opposite the bed. I was also really surprised by the lack of noise considering that the hotel is in the centre of a large city. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and professional. All in all a very pleasant surprise, and I will definitely use the hotel again when I come to Cardiff.

The only small criticism I have is that there is no bar as we would have liked to have had a drink when we got in after the concert we were attending, but apart from that I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Location and excellent breakfast

Location was perfect for a brief visit. Just across from Cardiff Central station and a few hundred metres from bars, cafe and huge shopping centre/mall. Would stay there again.

Room a little too warm and didn't fathom out the air con.
