Gunung Merta Bungalows

Good location, only -5 min walk to the Palace , there’s supermarket and restaurants outside the hotel. Friendly staff, staff replies WhatsApp message even in midnight. Hotel is clean and comfortable.

Bath towel is quite old, so we brought some once off towel from supermarket.

This place was such a great find, set in a great location on one of Ubud's main streets, super close to supermarket, cafes and laundromat. Since it's family-owned the bungalows are built in the extended courtyard of a big beautiful traditional Balinese home, whose garden you'll pass through to get to your accommodation - you'll be immersed in gorgeous local architecture and decor, while the actual rooms are modern and very comfortable. Our room had a a big furnished terrace with a view towards the rainforest. The bathroom was closed off, which is something we tried very hard to find in order to avoid mosquitoes and other insects. Pool was a beautiful oasis of tranquility and floating breakfasts are available. Lastly, the staff was amazing, very helpful, funny and kind and we had the chance to socialize with the owner over dinner, which was a great experience.

Oase van rust ! Zeer vriendelijk personeel, niets was teveel. Comfortabele kamer. Op wandelafstand van het centrum, en toch rustig. Wel steeds een onderneming met het verkeer en de slechte voetpaden!

The room was wonderful for 3 of us, very clean on arrival and it was cleaned nicely everyday. There was a lot of filtered water for us and other essentials like umbrellas, an outlet converter, bug spray, etc. While the hotel is close to the main road, it was like entering a quiet jungle oasis every time we walked in. The pool was very refreshing with good spaces to lounge nearby. The staff were very attentive. My boyfriend would do work and they would bring him free snacks and coffee!

The gardens are incredible. The villas are Clean and well maintained. The Staff are so friendly, accommodating and lovely.

The only issue we had was from the rain. When it’s heavy it’s very loud in the villa.

조식이 맛있어요. 조경이 멋있어요.

와이파이 연결이 끊어졌을때 바로 수리되지않아 아쉬웠어요. 수영장바닥 청소관리가 안되어 아쉬웠어요.
