A lovely property full of fascinating and quirky historical details. It was also one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. The weather was unpleasantly humid and sultry, but the courtyard room was cool, and the bed just so comfy. Rod the owner is welcoming and friendly, and full of interesting information about the property. Thoroughly recommended!

My husband and I just fancied a night away and we felt like we were on a special date.. The room was spacious light airy and we loved breakfast in the court yard the owner was welcoming and viable we loved it and would certainly visit again

The cottage is located minutes from Tenterden high street making everything very accessible. The cottage is very pretty and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful character to the building. Well equipped and comfortable room, and a lovely freshly cooked breakfast in the morning.

Old quirky place full of strange angles and creaky floors, but that’s seen in a positive light. Bathroom was private, but across the hall. Lovely gardens to the back. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Only drawback is the car park which is small and could be difficult to manoeuvre around when full. Luckily we brought the small car!

We were met by the owner, Rod, who was very friendly and showed us to our room, very comfortable and quiet. There was a Japanese theme about the house and garden which was most interesting. Breakfast served in the small courtyard was an extra bonus as the sun was out with blue skys overhead. We found the stay 1st class, thank you Rod!
