Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner.

We had a lovely stay in the downstairs room that goes out onto a patio it’s set out in a very unique Japanese style which was lovely.Itwas very clean and well maintained and Rod the owner made us feel very welcome and made a lovely English breakfast and would tell us about the history of the place it was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great location, clean room, off street parking

The property is over 500 years old and has a few creaks which add atmosphere to the beautiful building. The conversion to guest accommodation has been tastefully carried out with lots of Japanese furnishings. Rod cooked a very good breakfast and was the perfect host.

Lovely for a short stay, very central for Tenterden and walking distance of shops restaurants and bars! Great to have parking, be prepared it's a bit tight. Lovely room and facilities, lovely breakfast. (could have done with a few more tea bags in the room!

We stayed in the 'Corner Room', I maybe didn't read the description properly, but the bathroom was across the hall, not ensuite, wasn't ideal. It's a lovely old house, but this comes with a few inconveniences, the floor boards are very creaky, walls are thin, and no lock on the bedroom door (although you can lock from the inside), I found this very odd, but we just didn't leave anything valuable in the room. The host, Rod, was very helpful, and the breakfast was very nice. Very hard to get taxi's in Tenterden, we were going to Chapel Down wine farm and didn't want to drive, Rod suggested getting the bus back there for dinner, which was very helpful, and then Chapel Down had a few other taxi numbers, thankfully we finally managed to get one back.

Would return to this lovely period Establishment. Great room with quirky features but all the mod-cons where feasible. First rate breakfast.
