"Lovely characterful old guest house"

Beautiful old house, full of character and in a good location near the town centre. Our room was lovely and the al fresco breakfast was very nice. Rod, the owner, was very helpful when we were struggling to get a taxi to Chapel Down winery. We have stayed in or around Tenterden several times, and this was the best accommodation yet.

"Quirky, lovely resting point"

Very well positioned for the village and Chapel Down visit. Quirky property with some lovely Japanese influence. Very good shower. Host could not have done more.

"Pleasant stay for one night in Tenterden"

We had a one night stay. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and very much liked the Japanese ambience of the property - it is filled with Japanese furniture and artifacts and there are some fine bonsai and Japanese shrubs outside. The cooked breakfast was very good and the room comfortable. It is an old listed building so the ceilings/walls are thin - which is not ideal but is pointed out.

We have stayed before and the attention to details and the service level Rod provides are exceptional. go and stay there and take in Tenterden and the area you will not regret it
