Breakfast on Sunday was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable, with good water pressure in the shower. It was helpful to have ample off-street parking as we were driving with gear for our gigs. The staff were friendly and helpful even when messaging via booking.com didn't work properly -- I was grateful they made the effort to text me about check-in details as we were able to check in early, which was a great help.

Our room was very warm, even when we turned the radiator all the way down; this made sleeping difficult. Although the booking message said breakfast was available on Mondays, they were not serving breakfast that Monday (I suppose because we appeared to be the only guests remaining after the weekend, but I don't know).

The room was good, comfy and clean, had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The location was great for us because we had events both in the city centre and at the university that we were attending.

"Guesthouse needs updating"

Lovely white bedding and plenty of towels. Good parking on site.

My room stated that it was a shared bathroom. Just didn’t expect it to be down a flight of stairs.
