Check in. The staff is amazingly friendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights and overall weren’t too impressed, though it worked as a place to stay for the night. I did appreciate that the room had hard floors instead of carpet. It felt cleaner and easier to keep tidy. The beds were firm, which we didn’t mind. Breakfast was the typical: biscuits and gravy, sausage links, eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, plus juice and coffee. The breakfast attendant did a solid job keeping everything stocked, and we didn’t have to wait long even when items were running low. Overall, not the most modern stay, but the staff was courteous, and it covered the basics.

The beds were on metal frames that made a lot of noise anytime you got in or out of bed or even shifted around. We also thought our shower wasn’t working because the old-style tub switch didn’t activate the shower head. We ended up taking baths the whole stay. When we checked out, the front desk explained that you actually have to pull a piece underneath the faucet to turn the shower on, which is not obvious at all. He apologized and even had a sample faucet at the desk to show how it works. That is definitely something that should be mentioned at check-in or posted in the bathroom so guests aren’t confused. One thing to note is the parking lot. It is tight and one-way around the building. We drive an XL Yukon, and getting in late made parking a bit of a challenge. The angled spots in front would have been difficult for a larger vehicle, so we had to hope there was an open space in the back section.

The service was awesome, we called to let them know we were going to be late & all we needed was our confirmation number and what time we where going to be there. The contental breakfast was awesome.

We had the jacuzzi suite. It was nice after a day of shopping to come back and just relax in it.
