Samanta Is a Really good guide, the tour was fantásticas and she explain all quite good during our SUP tour in the Valamqr in steibgrad

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Sara L. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. From helpful tips to her constant attention to detail, she truly elevated the whole experience. I felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

Spent 4 nights with husband, 14 year old and 12 year old. 2 bedroom suite in main building overlooking pool. In my opinion not worth upgrading to the larger balcony rooms as plenty of bean bags type chairs/loungers to use around grounds without paying extra for these rooms, paying for the Loungers at the beach or reserving loungers with your towel by the pool as a few do ! Very clean throughout., Staff plentiful and friendly. Rooms compact as previously described but fortunately we only have cabin bags. Air con a bit noisy(sounded like a coffee machine at times!) but comfortable beds and both rooms had tvs. Breakfast a bit canteen like - juices were the sweet drinks from cartons rather than fresh. Other than that breakfast ok. Found flexi half board useful for Hungary teenagers - lunch time pizzas v good. We like to eat out at night and we enjoyed the 15 minute walk along the sea shore to Stari grad. Lots of restaurant options at reasonable prices. The town has a nice atmosphere . Can highly recommend ‘taxi Stari grad’ which you can find online - v efficient and good service - 20e from Stari grad ferry terminal and 45e to Hvar. Cheaper than through hotel. They were waiting for us when we disembarked off ferry. Water sports unfortunately couldn’t be used against half board 25e per day allocation . But weren’t too expensive. The sea here isnt quite as inviting as other places we visited but is seconds from main hotel building. There is a very derelict looking 2 star hotel next door which is owned by same company and looks like it’s not been touched since 70s but it didn’t affect this hotel. I’m assuming they haven’t got money to upgrade this. The other hotel on the other side and again Valamar is more small children oriented with slides etc. On the whole enjoyed our stay for ; nights and liked Stari grad .

The staff at Places Valamar was awesome!!! If you get Reyka in housekeeping, your room will be spotless!! Ivana, Luka, and Andelina mixed great drinks. And Marina served us awesome food when getting a break from the sun. The meat thing about the staff is they tell you the ins and outs of the island! Want a small beach? Wine festival? Steaks? Seafood?? They tell you the best local spots within walking distance in the area. Sincerely, Adrian Ilija

Beautiful pool area and amazing relaxed vibe troughout the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located right by the sea. Staff are kind and welcoming. Breakfast is tasty whit plenty of choice, and the beds are super comfortable. The nearby old town is absolutely charming and adds a special touch to the whole experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel provides excellent service, with a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The staff are professional, courteous, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay for guests. In particular, I would like to commend Minja at the reception. She consistently demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and exceptional customer care. Her proactive approach and attention to detail reflect the quality standards of the hotel and leave a very positive impression.

This is another dimension of hotel and catering that I have never experienced in these areas. Excellent service, starting from the kind Minja at the reception and then the others. The food is exceptional, the hygiene is excellent, the staff is fantastic. We will be back :)

My family and I loved this place. We were in a two bedroom villa with private pool which was gorgeous and functional and very comfortable. These were the best nights sleep of our two week trip. Buffet breakfast was very good. Lunch and dinner are decent. The whole resort is well maintained, clean and has a very laid back vibe. Plenty of places to relax, swim, walk, kayak, paddleboard, etc. You also get to use neighbouring Amicor resort facilities. The flexi board bracelet food ordering system works well and is super convenient. The walk to nearby Stari Grad town (15-20 min) is lovely and Stari Grad is a wonderful little town that we visited frequently. Overall, this is a 3 star resort disguised as a 4 star and we would come back here for sure.
