Ganz tolles Hotel

We had such a lovely stay at Valamar Places Hvar! The whole vibe of the place is relaxed and easygoing, but still super stylish and well-organized. It’s in a beautiful spot, the rooms are great, and everything is set up to help you just unwind and enjoy. What really made our stay special, though, were the people - especially the restaurant team. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we were having a good time. From breakfast through dinner, the service was always spot-on without ever feeling too much. Just super nice and natural. A big shoutout to Biljana Simić - she’s amazing. So calm, warm, and professional, and just one of those people who makes you feel instantly at ease. She remembered the little things, always greeted us with a smile, and somehow made every meal feel a bit more personal and enjoyable. It’s that kind of warmth and attention that really stuck with us - and honestly, it’s a big reason we’re already thinking about coming back.

Fantastic hotel, the only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is due to a couple of things that are lacking but it’s a great hotel. Beautiful hotel in a great location for Stari Grad- it’s just a 500m walk along a beautiful promenade to the main restaurant area. Great flexible half board option where you are given 25 euro pp per day. This is given upfront and can be spent on anything in the hotel. There’s also a free soup and salad bar every lunch. Lots of options for sunbathing- gorgeous four poster day beds, comfy sun loungers, hammocks, lots of shaded seating. The staff are lovely- not hugely friendly but very amiable and considerate. Big range of outdoor gym classes. The outdoor gym is disappointing and would have appreciated a better resourced, air conditioned facility. You have to pay 2 euros per towel if you want a fresh beach towel and it costs 10euro per lounger if you want to sunbathe on the beach area - this seems excessive to hotel guests. The pool attendants can be a little keen to enforce the no reserving loungers rule and on a couple of occasions I felt like I couldn’t even pop to my room for an item without the attendants prowling. This seemed to differ depending on the member of staff and some were lovely. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel in a great location with great facilities!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Valamar Hvar. This hotel truly has a great vibe. We loved the staff and the pool atmosphere. It reminded us of the time we stayed in Hawai.

The best driver. He is so kind and he picks us up every time. Being nice and kind like he is is always good. He drives very good and is always on time.

Nice breakfast. The rooms were however really small, very outdated and not so clean. The standard of the resort was in general average. The pictures looked better than the reality.

This property is absolutely stunning, offering a wide range of activities without ever needing to leave the hotel. The crystal-clear water is perfect for swimming, and the pools and recreational options make for an enjoyable stay. The dining experience was equally impressive. The food was delicious, and our server, Biligana, provided exceptional service—she was attentive, friendly, and highly communicative, ensuring our experience was outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing getaway!
