[PLACES] Hvar by Valamar

This property was designed with the guest experience in mind. The resort was full of game, nooks, hammocks, bars, and free pool beds that didn’t have to be reserved. We stayed in a Valamar property in Dubrovnik afterwards based on our good experience

Très bel hôtel, moderne avec des prestations de grande qualité. Proximité de la plage avec transats mis à disposition, un spa pour la détente qui donne sur la mer, deux piscines. Aquagym le matin. Un DJ anime l’après midi autour de la piscine, un peu trop bruyante. Pour le dîner un forfait de 25€ permet de choisir le repas et évite le gaspillage des buffets. Très bonne impression dans l’ensemble. Hôtel à recommander.

Diese 3 Sterne Hotel war für uns eine echte positive Überraschung! Es verdient 5! Hier stimmt einfach alles. Gut ausgeschilderte Anlage, süß beleuchtet Abends, tolle Pools, unfassbar nettes Personal und Sales im Boho Stil. Die Altstadt ist gemütlich fussläufig in 10min erreichbar und alles entlang der Promenade. Uns hat es hier an Nichts gefehlt, wir kommen definitiv wieder! Puno Hvala Hvar Places Hotel - vi ste vrh !

Das Hotel war alles in allem sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen top und das Personal freundlich. Besonders Cool war der Pool mit Musik durch DJ. Aufjedenfall würde ich nochmal dort Urlaub machen. Leider gab es keinen Kiosk oder Ähnliches direkt beim Hotel, haben wir erst bemerkt, als uns die Sonnencreme ausging. Und es hieß, dass reservierte Liegen nach 30 min abgeräumt werden, war leider nicht der Fall und es erfordert Eigeninitiative (könnte Stress mit anderen Gästen verursachen).

A wonderful summer vacation in a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is located in a beautiful pine park in the bay near Stari Grad, Hvar. Everything is very unique about the guesthouse, but the friendly worker at reception explained everything to us upon arrival. We all received a bracelet to pay for food and drinks and to open the room. The balance can always be checked on the app on the phone. The place is really wonderful with two swimming pools and close to the sea. The staff is very friendly from Stefan, who always find time to talk to each guest individually. Charge of the kitchen surprises me with his knowledge of gluten-free food, for which I regularly receive advice. All of the staff are cheerful and smiling but with wonderful smile during meals refreshes the whole day. The music by the pool is fantastic, with different DJs, and we must praise the girl with the violin who perfectly fits into the sound of mixed good old and new hits. Guests have free sunbeds in the park and next to the swimming pool, which completes the wonderful and high-quality offer. If you want the atmosphere of a small town on the coast, you can walk along the sea to the center of Stari Grad with its restaurants and cafes.

Positives: We've really enjoyed with our stay in Places Hotel. Everything was perfect; nature, atmosphere, foods, hotel staff. Strongly recommended. Negatives: - S rooms are really small if the room is important, but it was not an issue for us since we really liked the shared areas of Hotel. - Pillows were uncomfortable :(

Really fantastic stay, great location! The flexi half board was brilliant and plenty of choice. I would have given 5 stars however they have a no pool bed reservation policy, however by 08:30 all of the beds have been reserved and also not in use for many hours with no effort to uphold this policy at all so unless your down before 8am there’s no chance of a bed by the pool.
