Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast. Overall price was very good, clean room and good powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

No vanity mirror or full length , a good walk to town centre. Mattress was uncomfortable and kettle was in need of descaling. Parking on main street requires a £10 permit.

"Fantastic place to stay ."

Location is spot on , We have eaten there a few times and thought a stay would be good , we were on our way back from Scotland so Scarborough was a plus break on the way home , would we stay there again without question and would highly recommend , Staff were great , In all an enjoyable stay , Many thanks Paul & Sue .

"April retreat"

Breakfast was locally sourced and tasted amazing, loved the decor. Quirky Cafe open daily. Our Room was comfortable and clean.

There's no Reception welcome. Heads-up that you need to ring a mobile number to retreave a pass code to access a key to open front door and room.

This was our first stay at Rowntree Lodge and we loved it. On day of arrival the host rang to ask our ETA and explained the self check in process as we were arriving later than 5pm and this was followed up by text confirming all check in details. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel so welcome. Rowntree Lodge is in a nice area and is an ideal location for the South cliffs and Spa and the town itself.

There’s nothing to not like!!
