The Franklin

Lovely stay at The Franklin. Owners very friendly. Beds very comfortable. Couldn’t fault it. Will stay again. Breakfast lovely.

Dan and Felicity went the extra mile to make our stay welcoming and pleasant. Would happily recommend. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the centre - and yet peaceful and quiet. Comfy clean room with room service as a lovely additional feature. Breakfasts were splendid.

Shower pressure weak

Excellent location, excellent breakfast, excellent hosts, excellent value for money. Can't fault it.

Dan went out of his way to help with a takeaway breakfast as I was at work early. Much appreciated.

Lovely place. Nice friendly welcome, had info messages before arrival and our room was ready early as a bonus. Room itself was large enough, had all the obvious requirements including kettle coffee and milk in the fridge. Bed was comfortable, breakfast large and good quality. Franklin is a short walk to the centre, plenty of restaurants close by too. Parking on street with a permit from the b&b. Drinks also available to purchase and take to the room. All in all , a lovely friendly place and would definitely stay again if in the Harrogate area. Many thanks to Dan and Felicity from Dave and Karen.

Friendly family run establishment. Exceptional breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Strong emphasis on supporting local companies in their produce.

Could do with a blind in the dining room as the sun was very bright in the morning during breakfast

We had a lovely stay at the Franklin, parked easily near by and we were supplied with a parking permit by Felicity with clear instructions on how to change it the next day. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. good quality hospitality tray and an addition of local and tasty flapjacks was a bonus. Breakfast next day was delicious and we only had to ask for anything and it was supplied , served by Felicity and her delightful children. We were well within 5mins walking of the city center, we would definitely recommend The Franklin and would use it again if we returned to Harrogate.

Hot water took a little time to come through and the water pressure was not good. The window nearest the bed although it was double glazed didn't seem to keep the street noise out , but it didn't deter us from sleeping well.

Location was great as it was located in a quiet street & only a couple of mins walk to the town centre. Felicity was a good host and the room was comfortable and clean & superb breakfast. Would definately recommend and would stay here again in the future.
