Das Hotel ist schön und sauber! Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht! Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet!

Die Gäste waren leider sehr negativ. Es wurden oft die Vorschriften und Regeln ignoriert! Das Personal musste oft eingreifen oder von uns geholt werden! Wir hatten einen privaten Pool-Zugang. Die Kinder der anderen Gäste sind wiederholend auf unserem Balkon/unsere Terasse geklettert! Die Eltern haben nichts gemacht, trotz Ermahnung! Das Essen ist leider auch sehr schlecht-keine 5Sterne. Speisesaal und Auswahl sehr mager. Jede Speise ist nur aufgewärmt und nichts ist frisch zubereitet. Keine Köche vorhanden! Das war sehr enttäuschend. In der Umgebung gibt es nichts ausser 1 Supermarkt…

Die Lage war Top, direkt am Strand, Kleines Hotel mit überschaubarer Große und Leistungen, was nicht unbedingt negativ ist.Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber, Personal ganz Nett und bemüht, ihre Arbeit gut zu leisten.

Gastronomie war qualitativ nicht gut, keine einheimische Gerichte, keine Gewürze/ keine Zitrone. Alkoholische Getränken waren sehr verdünnt (Als ob man alkoholfreie Getränke trinken würde). Allerschlimmste war die Lärme und laute Musik von 9 Uhr bis 22-23 Uhr, Überall am Pool, am Strand, im Flur vor dem Zimmer, dass man nicht mal eine Pause hatte, auch nicht mal am Mittag. Also keine Ruhe und keine Entspannung. Nach mehrfachen Wünschen wurde die Musik etwas minimal leise geworden.

The hotel is far from a 5-star experience — at best it feels somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. The beach is far too small for the size and capacity of the hotel, making it practically impossible to find space. The pool is very narrow, with almost no sunbeds available, and yet it remained mostly unused because of its poor design. Being placed between U-shaped buildings, the pool area feels like an oven, with no proper airflow or comfort. For the price charged, the hotel is absolutely not worth it — at most it’s worth half. We decided to leave after just one hour of arrival, and unfortunately, we were not offered any compensation or refund for our 5-night stay. On the positive side, I must say the staff did try to assist us within their limits, and even tried to help by offering to add 1 sunbed for me, my wife, and our children to share it. However, there was simply no space left on the beach to even reach the sea, so it was impossible to use it. The hotel and rooms were clean. But overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and did not match the advertised standard. So, a sure no go for me.

We stayed at the White Olive Elite Rethymno from August 6th to August 13th as a group of 13 people, and we had a wonderful experience from the very first moment. The rooms are spacious and very beautiful, especially those with a sea view, offering a truly pleasant panorama. The staff, both in the restaurant and at the reception, were always impeccable and helpful, meeting all our needs with great professionalism. A special thank you goes to the hotel manager, who welcomed us and fulfilled every request with kindness and attention. We booked through Booking.com at a very good rate, and we can honestly say the value for money is excellent. On our last day, since our flight was at 10 p.m., they kindly offered us a service room to get changed and prepare in comfort – a gesture we greatly appreciated. The only small downside is that the sea in this area tends to be a bit rough, but for us, it was the perfect excuse to explore the wonderful places of Crete. In conclusion, these 5 stars go more to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff than to the structure itself, with a special mention to the manager for his kindness and attention. Location

Rooms with a sea view are actually pool view, and you have to look from the corner to see a small glimpse of the sea. There is a mold smell in the room, along with mold and rust in the shower. Our room had a small window facing the neighbor’s balcony with no curtains, so they could see directly into our room. The hotel only added a curtain on the fourth day of our stay. Bathrobes smelled of mold and dampness. The pool bar had a very limited selection of snacks. It closed at 5:30 PM, after which another bar opened with no snacks at all. The selection of cocktails was very poor, and you could buy branded cocktails only at the evening bar, meaning you had to pay extra either to have snacks or to drink cocktails. From 8 to 10 PM, there is always a queue at the bar, and you can wait up to 30 minutes to get a drink. There was a poor selection of food, especially for lunch and dinner. The food was tasteless, although occasionally there was seafood like fish or calamari. The hotel administration was rude and unable to resolve any issues. There were no free sunbeds after 9 AM, as all of them were reserved with towels, but less than half were actually used by guests.
