Full Moon Village

Its a nice place to relax, pretty far away from the bars and places to eat. Also, no place for driver to stay, other places I have been had driver quarters

To relaxe..... You really can so nothing and feel everywhere so comfotable...

Paid for a one bedroom villa but was upgraded to a two bedroom for free, the villas are spacious with a jacuzzi and it even had a stove for cooking. Location is about a 25mins drive to the main streets which would be bad for eating and drinking but the resort has a shuttle service to and from 5 times a day. I also use the shuttle to the hotel from the train station, simply catch taxi to co op supermarket, then walk across the street to the bus stop on the other side. Last shuttle is quite early though. Can rent scooters or go kite surfing via the hotel. Food at restaurant is delicious but a little expensive. Biggest downside though heaps of ants in kitchen and heaps of mosquitos which you can't prevent as the walls have decorative holes

If you are looking to relax you cannot go wrong with this hotel, big villas with own Jacuzzi, garden...ect. comfy beds with good aircon throughout the villa. Great pool. White soft sandy quite beach. you have a range of water sports to choose from for free right on the beach and the owner is very helpful and friendly, the sea was quite rough both days we were there, I get the impression this is normal so Suring was a little tricky but Kayak was fun. Only down side like other have mentioned its quite far from the main centre, around 20-30 mins so you wouldn't want to do this trip every night, I don't rate many hotels 5 stars but this one deserves it.

Understood it was a very remote location - and it sure is! Bring plenty of supplies. Loud noise all one evening from nearby resort. The 'air-conditioned' 2 bedroom villa we booked only had A/C in the bedrooms (i.e. only abut 30% of the villa) - in August A/C is vital. They kindly upgraded us to a larger, fully A/C'd unit, but only available due to off season. Otherwise friendly, nice, remote place.

This hotels grounds, rooms and facilities are really lovely and the staff is attentive as well. The plus and minus to this place is that it is really far from restaurants and night life. Going into town twice can cost more in taxi fees than your room. You also have to wait about 20 minutes for a taxi to even get to the hotel. There is a shuttle bus but it's very infrequent and inconvenient times. If you want to just veg out in a single place and eat at there restaurant, then this place is really great. But if you like live music, or cocktails and people watching, not so much.

We absolutely loved our stay here..The staff and manager were excellent and any issues,( poor wifi connection initially and one ac unit broke) were dealt with immediately. Our children loved the free use of boogie boards, surf boards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks etc and the beach boys were eternally patient and very friendly. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained and the beach is unspoiled for miles each way. Two things to be aware of is that there is only ac in the 2 bedrooms on the 2 bed bungalows, so the rest of the living areas are very very hot, with just two fans in the sitting room/ kitchen area. Also as we extended our stay from 5 to 9 nights we did spend a lot of money (20 to 30 USD ) each way on taxis into or out of town as the hotel shuttle service times are limited in the evenings...In at 5.10 out at 9.30 The out of town position was perfect for us but may not suit everyone as there are no shops , restaurants etc near Full Moon. Overall a fantastic stay in an incredibly beautiful resort.

Full Moon Village is a great place to stay, a great place to relax. Three women shared our huge villa; at least three more could have slept there. The decor was beautiful, the beach clean and we spent a lot of time at the pool. We enjoyed the food and found the staff very helpful although the Dutch manager was a bit overbearing. While we were there only a wedding party shared the resort which is disappointing for such a lovely spot with such good service and good value for money.

Very secluded with a decent beach, unlike the rest of Mui Ne/Ham Tien. They have a free shuttle bus to their branch in the busy part of the strip but one night we were trapped at the strip since the bus wasn't making its run, so the hotel staff offered us a taxi back at half the price (150,000 instead of 300,000 dong). Bear in mind that in the shared villa, you will have to share the toilet/bathroom (the shower area has no door and the overall bathroom area doesn't lock), so that means less than perfect privacy unless you were as lucky as we were to get the whole villa to ourselves. In other words, this arrangement would probably be better for a large family or a pair of (pretty close) friends.
