Hilton Garden Inn Auburn

First time visiting the area. Location was good. The was welcoming. Staff very friendly. I would stay here again

While staying at the hotel there were two differ tournaments going on in the area. There were many young children and teen age boys. I am all for kids having fun but the parents of the younger children did not supervise them. They were running wild. Staff tried to speak with the parents. The parents did not want to hear it.

No continental breakfast, very disappointing for a Hilton, the pool was green and thick with a scum on the top, and after returning back to the hotel after a long day away to not have any parking available for hotel guests due to an event going on! When I asked about additional parking I was told I could park accross the street and then move my car after 9 to the main lot. HUGE inconvenience and very disappointing!

The room temp was freezing when we arrived. Did not like the tv system

Rooms were spacious comfortable and clean

The staff had Told us a hot breakfast in morning was to be offered to us. But that was not the case in the morning, it was a charge of $13 per person for it!! What happened to included in the 358.00 stay? Very disappointed in the extra charge. Will not stay at this particular chain.

Although the lobby was updated the rooms were not. The bed & pillows were not comfortable. I can now appreciate the country inn & suites by radiosonde that i stayed the day prior had breakfast included along with newer more comfortable bed & pillows. Goes to show you can’t judge a hotel room by its lobby.

Ryan, the manager, was rude and disrespectful including hanging up on me when I attempted to change my reservation in the weeks prior to the reservation on the phone. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If I could rate it lower I would. Ryan should be fired and not allowed to work in customer service anywhere.
