HOTEL LiVEMAX Chofu-Ekimae

Overall experience was good. The room was quiet and warm, we didn't even needed to turn on the heater because it was already warm inside. The staff will help you on what you need. It is near the station and there is a curry restaurant near the hotel. It was delicious and not expensive! :D

The stay was noisy

Rooms are clean, the hotel is suuuper close to a transfer station so it's not an issue to go to tokyo. Also close to restaurants, grocery stories and starbucks. The only con is that the beds are very hard, we had to sleep on top of the comforters to make them a little softer. But overall for the price this hotel is excellent.

Convenience was top for me! Whether you are just staying around Chofu area or going downtown to Shinjuku, it's very convenient to move around. All the basic amenities are provided, conditions are acceptable, in short - good value for money!

I was very impressed with this hotel. That being said, before you stay here know it is VERY SMALL. The entire room is shown in the pictures so know that if you're by yourself it will be fine but these are not rooms that fit more than 2 and even 2 is pushing it. Other than that, the hotel staff was great and very helpful. Their English was not great but enough to get you in and point you to a close noodle restaurant that was actually the best restaurant I ate at while in Japan. They were prompt when cleaning the room and it was a very pleasant stay.

Clean business hotel super close to Chofu station which is only 20 minutes from Shinjuku. This is a business hotel so its pretty basic in terms of rooms setup and quite small. If you are on a budget and just need a convenient place to sleep this will do the job.

This is a business hotel, perfectly fine for a one night stay. That means the room is small, and the mattress leaves something to be desired. But, there aren't many hotels in Chofu, and this one is reasonably priced. The wifi connection was good in my room (which is often a problem at business hotels). I spoke to the staff in Japanese, so I can't comment on their English ability.

As it was a last minute trip to Tokyo I culdn't expect any bargains, especially over New Year's Eve, and none were to be had at all. This place came well-recommended, but be warned, it has no cafe or restaurant, very limited English spoken by the staff and no coffee or tea provided, although it did come with a kettle. The TV was useless to a non-speaker. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located to Chofu train station and a number of restaurants and shops.

I will come back again. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Whenever coming back to the hotel from outside, I felt like I came home.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Very close to Chofu station for easy access to train or taxi or bus. Highly recommend. Also try the Parco dining terrace (Botejyu restaurant) and others. Try Parco food market in basement of parco mall. Close to Jindaji Temple or Kichijoji by bus. Half hour by train to Shinjuku.
