Talana Hotel

Excellent value for money . Convenient location, spotless, great bed, dated decor.

The hotel was comfortable with a few shortcomings, no lift , also in the bathroom no hand rails for shower, as we can only have showers due to Arthritis it could have caused a fall, I had to go out and buy a non slip rubber mat. As a retired nurse health and safety issues should be addressed

Our room led off to a beautiful smallish outdoor pool and lovely patio area. The pool was cold to enter but lovely while in. The hotel had a very comfortable large seating area with excellent WiFi. The quality of food at breakfast was excellent and very well cooked. Breakfast only served between 8.30 and 9.30 was a bit restrictive. We usually like breakfast at 8. A full fry could not be substituted. You could not request just bacon and mushroom, or scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. Had to be all or noting. Scrambled eggs or beans was an option from a full English but you made your own toast. Yoghurt and some fresh fruit would have been nice. Dee was waitressing 2 of the days on her own and she got the food out very hot and efficiently. We were leaving earlier for our flight on the last morning and asked the morning before if we could have an earlier breakfast but we're firmly told "breakfast is at 8.30". Talana is a 20 or 25 minute walk from St Helier which is very convenient and a bus also drives past the door.

We had a lovely stay at Talana Hotel. Very clean, delicious breakfast, very friendly and welcoming and helpful⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is a good friendly hotel . The staff are very nice and friendly, it is easy to get to from the airport with a very cheap bus service. The number 15 bus to bus station and then the number 2 bus has bus stop outside of the hotel. The hotel service for breakfast is very good and food is good.

The staff are very friendly and pleasant. It was immaculately clean. I was very surprised it was rated as an only two star hotel. The breakfast was lovely. Very good. I shall definitely be staying there again and shall recommend it to other family members who are staying in Jersey.

Dee and James at the Talana were really lovely; helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Thank you very much.

No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again.
