The hotel on the whole was full of character- room we stayed in was clean and comfortable- on arrival the lady who booked us in was pleasant-bar was pleasant- l had a lovely pint of cider and partner had a good cappuccino

One young lady behind the bar wasn't happy- didn't really engage- when I returned the empty cups/ glasses to the bar she didn't acknowledge the fact a small thanks would have been nice- maybe she was having a bad day- I understand the fact that everything has received a price hike- but £17 each for breakfast seemed a tad high- so although we booked a nights stay we decided not to have the breakfast although iam sure it would have been very nice

"We had a nice relaxed stay with beautiful weather"

The breakfasts were satisfactory and the location was excellent,the staff were very helpful

We stayed before some years ago and there was a residents lounge that has now gone
