Su Gologone Experience Hotel

Eine besonders charmante und liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft, die wiederholt mit zunächst unerkannten Rückzugsorten überrascht. Für uns genauso wie wir es uns nach den Fotos/der Beschreibung vorgestellt hatten. Sehr freundliches Personal, gerade an der Rezeption - alle Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Berge. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Zudem gibts jeden Abend kleinere Veranstaltungen/ein Unterhaltungsprogramm im Hotel. Wenn man etwas bemängeln möchte, dann vielleicht, dass es keine Übersicht zu den einzelnen Hotelbereichen gab in denen sich auch die jeweiligen Öffnungszeiten (zB der Bar) befanden - so war es etwas schwieriger den Überblick über das Gelände und die Möglichkeiten zu bekommen.

This hotel was so unique, very arty and like staying in a private villa. When we arrived there was a huge wedding party at the hotel, but this didn’t stop the reception staff checking us in efficiently and spending time with us to explain the hotel and show us to our room, they even fetched the suitcases from the car and delivered them to our room. I’d asked for a room on an upper floor with a balcony and that is exactly what I got. A lovely room, spotless with a large bathroom. Room 50 was ideal for us, nice sunny balcony, coffee machine and a basket with pool towels was waiting for us.There are a lot of steps in this hotel, so be mindful if you have trouble with steps. The best thing to do is explore the hotel as there are so many little nooks to hide away in and the colours of cushions etc in different areas is lovely. They even have a garden where they grow veg that you can walk round and the champagne bar at dusk is a must. the bed was big and comfortable and housekeeping were fantastic, never even saw them come and go, very efficient. The pool area was quite, no trouble getting sun beds. Good choice of breakfast items, cold buffet only, no hot food. We only stayed two nights, but would love to stay longer to explore more of the surrounding area and the hotel! So we will definitely be back, such a friendly hotel, can’t wait.

Ist jetzt nicht mega modern, aber wenn man sich darauf einlässt ein sehr schöner Platz um sich zu erholen mit großem Pool. Die Zimmer sind stylisch und sauber. Die Pasta ist super lecker und das Spanferkel ebenso.

Set in the mountain region of Sardinia, this unique and beautiful property offers premium service and amenities (albeit at a premium price). The breakfast buffet is excellent and the dinner in the restaurant superb (if lacking a bit of variation day-to-day). Loved all the different areas to discover, with 3 separate bars all with a different vibe, and many different garden/relaxation areas tucked away around the property. Has a gym and spa (although we didn't use these amenities). Only negative is that the pool area could do with updating - grass right up to the pool edge doesn't really work as becomes patchy turning to small, but annoying when you step into, muddy areas (would be better tiled for the sunbeds, with grass further outside that). The Jacuzzi was gritty (likely due to detritus picked up from grassy areas) but also cold (which defeats the object of a Jacuzzi IMHO). Overall though I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a 2 or 3 night stay - first class.

If you are looking for luxury and relaxation off the beaten path, this is the place. If you don’t like nature including mosquitos don’t come here. I normally cannot stay still on vacation and always try to leave the hotel- not here, this hotel is a completely different experience and if your in Sardinia, worth a 3 night stay. I would do 3 days here and 2 nights on the water at Cala Gagone about a one hour drive- at Cala Ganone rent a small boat for a few hours, and make sure you have goggles. We didn’t stay at Cala Galone but took a day trip from Su Galone.

Lovely setting, excellent restaurant and friendly staff, however the hotel room was a bit dinghy and old fashioned and a few of the communal areas could use a facelift. Didn’t quite live up to expectations from the pictures.

The property is impressive and has many nice amenities. The room was spacious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! The hotel is a bit far from anything, so if you are looking to really “unplug” this is a good spot. The food at the restaurant was spectacular!

The property was beautiful however it is in great neeed of anupgrade. The beds and pillows are 2 star quality at best. We got a dark room in the back which was a junior suite for 3 of us. The room itself was nicely decorated and spacious. The window had been left open so the room was filled with flies and mosquitos (until we killed them all). The shower is small and tubular and definitely needs to be replaced. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was very nice. No need to do the inclusive dinner since you can order ala Carte. The pool was nice but the hours are 9:30-7:30. Why open so late and end so early. We usually didn’t get back from excursions til 7 and there were still hours of sunlight left. They mention that it is an experience hotel, but then there doesn’t seem to be much info available on what to do. The only few things they know about were run thru the hotel for a min of $100/person. There are many good things to do in the area that don’t cost so much. I thought they also could have offered at least one complementary activity a night -ie wine tasting or olive oil tasting. Overall I am glad we went there since we were able to see the beauty of some of the mountain towns. We went to Cala Gonone one day and hiked to the beach and took a boat back (the hotel gave us incorrect info on this excursion. We also rented e mtn bikes and road up a beautiful valley near the hotel. Next time we would stay in Cala Gonone since we paid too much for this experience.

Extremely unique property with amazing surroundings

Beautiful environment, not pretentious, wonderful staff - although there could be more of them... they work very hard and cover allot of roles. Food is amazing, art is beautiful. Very charming
