Amazing grounds but the hotel needs maintenance. Facilities are all abit run down. Breakfast buffet is only continental i.e. all cold items. For a 5 star resort I would expect a hot breakfast.

This place is an experience which is quite unique. Beautiful location with brilliant staff and fabulous food. I shall be recommending this hotel to anyone who wants to relax in style and just immerse yourself in art, beautify and gentleness - a wonderful Sardinian experience!

Wonderful hotel in beautiful grounds against the stunning backdrop of the mountains. The attention to detail through flowers, painted stones and cushions made it really special. Our room was clean and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, though quite pricey. Great location for getting out and seeing the countryside.

Wonderful hotel and stay. Everything from the rooms to the grounds to the food are absolutely fantastic. The area is fascinating to explore and gorgeous. One thing to note - there is currently a bridge out right by the hotel that makes Google Maps go a little bit wonky. It also makes it take about 20 minutes longer to reach the beach. Not a huge deal but it's something to conscious of as it can lead to some stressful driving if you're not careful.

Very good apart from poor wifi, which was slow and only available in the lobby (not now up to muster for a hotel of this quality). Re food, the cooking time of boiled eggs was quite variable, sometimes hard-boiled and sometimes quite under-cooked, and tit was remarkably difficult to get any salt out of the salt cellars. Antipasta was great, pasta was good, the main dishes underwhelming (rather dry and/or tasteless meat) and without vegetables unless ordered as a side dish at 8 euros each, and the desert unimaginative (lots of variations on cream and sponge). But the staff generally were absolutely charming. So alpha minus, I think.

Overall we had a lovely stay but the hotel is getting a bit tired in places. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and some areas of the hotel are really stunning eg the white sunset terrace with outstanding views (although watch out for the cactus needles!). Some areas are very tired however eg the tennis court, and the grass around the pool area makes it feel a bit dilapidated. It definitely needs a bit of a refresh and they should concentrate on the areas they are good at and not try to do too much as they are spreading themselves too thinly st the moment.
